WE Day California is quickly approaching and is expected to be star-studded.
The one-day event will bring together more than 16,000 youth to celebrate America’s youth taking action on social issues. Hosted by Selena Gomez, the special day will feature a performance by Alicia Keys and appearances by Demi Lovato, Tyrese Gibson, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Bryan Cranston, and more.
“My first WE Day experience was 3 years ago and to say I was impressed is an understatement,” said actress, multi-platinum recording artist and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and host of WE Day California, Selena Gomez. “The electricity of an arena full of thousands of young people who are making real change in the world is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. I am grateful to be a part of such a supportive community and hope I can inspire the kids at WE Day just as they continue to inspire me.”
Laila Ali, Madison Beer, Alessia Cara, Sofia Carson, Monique Coleman, Lily Collins, Auli’i Cravalho, Maia Dua, Easton LaChappele, Forever In Your Mind, Ezra Frech, Josh Gad, Brian Grazer, Winnie Harlow, Clay Helton, Jack & Jack, DJ Khaled, Craig and Marc Kielburger, Celebrity Marauders, Angie Martinez, Shay Mitchell, Miss Piggy along with the other Muppets, Nico & Vinz, Mpumi Nobiva, Emil Sandé, Donovan Smith, Lilly Singh, JoJo Siwa, STOMP, Lizzie Velasquez, Spencer West, Wilson & Jackson, and Maayan Ziv are all confirmed to make appearances, too.
WE Day will take place on Thursday, April 27th at the “Fabulous” Forum in Inglewood, CA. You can’t buy a ticket to WE Day—students from across the country earn their way by the actions they take on one local and one global cause of their choice. However, anyone can find his or her place with WE and commit to making a change in the world. The first step is to take the WE Pledge at WE.org. By taking the pledge, participants are joining the WE Community and making a commitment to live WE every day. For every pledge taken on WE.org, $10 will be donated to local and global programs.
