If there’s one thing we love, it’s denim, country music, and a celeb-studded pop-up — and American Eagle just delivered the ultimate experience with their first-ever Denim Deli in Nashville!
Over the weekend, AE took over the 12th South district on Friday and Saturday (March 21 & 22), teaming up with local fave Mitchell’s Deli to serve up free sandwiches, custom denim, and major surprise guests. And, of course, Celeb Secrets had to be there!
Content creator and influencer Cecily Bauchmann was our guest correspondent for the day, and let’s just say — she hit every activation, met some of our faves, and served major denim inspo along the way.

From the moment Cecily arrived, the AE Denim Deli was already poppin’! Fans lined up to grab custom AE pieces, exclusive swag, and the most delicious sandwiches, all while enjoying live performances from local talent. But that’s not all…
A few familiar faces showed up to serve looks and deli realness! Outer Banks’ Chase Stokes, TikTok’s Montana Boyz, and singer-songwriters Maddox Batson and Abby Anderson all made an appearance — bringing extra star power to an already epic event. Chase and the Montana Boyz even hopped behind the deli counter (shirtless, btw) to serve sandwiches, while Abby took the stage for a special performance!

Before hitting the stage, Cecily caught up with Anderson for a fast-paced, fun, and fashion-fueled rapid-fire Q&A — and let’s just say, we got all the tea.
When asked whether she’s a skinny jeans or baggy jeans girl, Abby didn’t hesitate. “Skinny! Skinny jeans never went away. They’re sexy! People are mad about it, but I love them,” she told Cecily for Celeb Secrets. She also keeps it classic when it comes to denim trends, revealing that if her music style was a pair of jeans, it would be “classic vintage,” just like AE’s AE77 line. “I’m actually wearing them right now!” she said, showing off her go-to straight-leg pair.
When it came to fashion choices, Abby made it clear she’s a cowboy boots and jeans kind of girl (because, duh!). But the real test? Whether she’d rather rock denim-on-denim for a month or perform only in heels. Abby laughed, saying she already does both —so it’s not even a challenge!

Of course, the AE Denim Deli was all about the sandwiches, so Cecily had to ask her go-to order. Abby kept it simple: “Anything with meat. Extra mayo. No regrets.”
But the biggest moment of the chat? Abby casually dropped that she’s teaming up with AE on a custom Stagecoach outfit! “I don’t know if I can say this yet, but we’re making my Stagecoach look with AE, and it’s going to be badass.”
She teased that the brand’s leather pieces are next-level, and she’ll be rocking a full leather corset and chaps ensemble for the festival. “It’s going to be so good,” she promised.
Aside from the delicious eats, denim dreams, and celeb sightings, the AE Denim Deli was the perfect mix of fashion, music, and Nashville energy. Cecily even got in on the customization action, adding her own flair to an AE denim tote — and trust us, the DIY moment was essential.
Between the live open mic sessions, exclusive AE drops, and surprise guests, this pop-up was one for the books. If AE ever decides to bring the Denim Deli back (which they totally should), you better believe we’ll be first in line!
