The Peanuts gang is coming back to our TV screens before we run in 2022.
The beloved franchise will be showcased in an all-new holiday special, and for the first-time ever, we’re getting a deeper look at Lucy and how she will be celebrating the holidays this year. will be available for streaming on Apple TV+ on December 10.
In Snoopy Presents: For Auld Lang Syne, viewers will follow Lucy after she finds out her grandma won’t be visiting for Christmas. After experiencing a not-so-merry Christmas, she resolves to throw the best New Year’s Eve party ever for the entire Peanuts gang. Meanwhile, Charlie Brown struggles to accomplish just one more resolution before the clock strikes midnight.
Based on the “Peanuts” comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, this will be the first anticipated holiday special since its partnership with WildBrain Studios, along with Peanuts Worldwide and Lee Mendelson Film Productions started in 2020. The story is by Alex Galatis and Scott Montgomery, directed by Clay Kaytis.
Apple TV+ now has all Peanuts holiday specials available on the streaming platform, such as the beloved classics, A Charlie Brown Christmas and Happy New Year, Charlie Brown now available to watch. In addition, the specials join other Peanuts titles on Apple TV+, including The Snoopy Show, Peanuts in Space: Secrets of Apollo 10 and Daytime Emmy-nominated series, Snoopy in Space.
