Albert Tsai Talks Working on “Dr. Ken” + Dancing For The Audience – Read Our Q&A!

We can’t get enough of Albert Tsai, who plays Ken Jeong‘s son Dave Park, on ABC’s new comedy Dr. Ken.

The 11-year-old has already made his mark in the entertainment industry with prior roles on some of television’s hottest projects, including Trophy Wife and Fresh Off The Boat, and now he’s stealing the show over on the set of Dr. Ken and we love it!

CelebSecrets4U met up with Tsai during his first trip to New York to get the scoop on future episodes of Dr. Ken and to find out more about his relationships with the cast members on the show, and of course, we had to ask him about his time in the Big Apple.

“It’s amazing. Just before I got here, I went to the top of the Rock in Rockefeller Center. That was really fun. Before that, I did Empire State, again, on the top. Freezing cold at night, but a beautiful view. I took a ferry to Liberty Island and saw the Statue of Liberty. I saw a broadway musical Wicked. Then, I went to the SS Intrepid, which is the big big battleship and the submarine. That was cool and I went to the UN Headquarters and the Lincoln Center.”

On top of all the sightseeing, Tsai has been busy promoting his show, which was picked up for a second season back in October. According to Tsai, we can expect some great scenes from Dave in the upcoming episodes.

“I think in a couple of weeks there’s this one episode where Dave, my character, goes to the HMO and wreaks havoc where Dr. Ken works and all of Dr. Ken’s colleagues chase me all up and down around the building because I didn’t want to get a shot. Also, in another episode, I have to be babysat at home, but I want to go to a game night type thing, so I hire another Asian boy who supposedly looks like me to be my stand in because the nanny is an old babysitter whose eyes aren’t great (laughs).
