Anne Wilson Is Living Her Dream With Stagecoach Debut, Touring with Morgan Wallen & a New Era of Music on the Horizon (Exclusive)

Anne Wilson is living proof that you don’t have to choose between faith and the spotlight—you can have both and still be fiercely yourself.

Last month (April 27), the PLATINUM-certified, GRAMMY-nominated artist made her Stagecoach debut, and it was nothing short of a full-circle moment for the Lexington, Kentucky native whose career has blossomed at the crossroads of country grit and Christian conviction.

“It’s just so fun being out here in California,” Anne told Celeb Secrets host Juliet Schroder backstage before her set. “I love the weather, I love the people—it’s just such a beautiful moment. I’m taking it all in.”

Anne’s debut country album REBEL dropped one year ago and turned heads for all the right reasons—powerful lyrics, heartfelt performances, and a message of faith that felt fresh and fearless. Now, with REBEL (Revisited), Anne’s honoring that season with acoustic versions and stripped-down collaborations that offer a new lens on familiar tracks.

“I am so excited to release this special edition of REBEL on the one-year anniversary of this album that means so much to me,” Anne shared in a press statement. “Since releasing REBEL, life has been such a whirlwind filled with one incredible moment after another.”

Speaking exclusively to Celeb Secrets, Anne added more personal insight on what inspired the reimagined versions:
“After performing these songs for a year, I realized they’d taken on a whole new meaning,” she explained. “Songs like ‘Rain In The Rearview’—it just felt so much more emotional now. The acoustic version really brings out the heart behind it.”

The 23-year-old revealed that the track’s new take was inspired by live performance energy. “We actually used the version from our Winter Jam tour,” she said. “I listened back and thought, this is it. You could just hear the emotion. That’s what this project is about—honoring where these songs started and where they’ve been.”

Anne’s favorites include “Strong (Acoustic),” “Praying Woman” (a heartfelt duet with Lainey Wilson), and the Church Session version of “The Cross,” which is currently climbing the Christian radio charts.

The REBEL (Revisited) project also gave Anne the chance to collaborate with one of her musical heroes—and now close friend—Lainey Wilson on “Praying Woman.”

“Lainey is just such a light,” Anne said with a smile. “She’s been such a mentor to me and has really taken me under her wing. Re-recording that song with her as an acoustic version was so special. We got to catch up, laugh, pray—it was a real sisterhood moment.”

Anne also touched on how their friendship blossomed naturally through mutual respect and shared values. “I love her so much,” she said. “She’s one of the realest people I’ve met in this industry.”

Since REBEL dropped, Anne’s career has skyrocketed. From chart-topping success at Christian radio to a national appearance on the TODAY Show, she’s checked off some major career goals.

“One of the proudest moments was definitely performing on TODAY,” Anne told us. “That was always a dream of mine. Just being there, singing my songs with that kind of platform—it’s a moment I’ll never forget.”

It’s all part of the surreal journey Anne’s been on—one she doesn’t take for granted. “It’s been awesome,” she said. “I’ve had so much fun and experienced more than I could have ever dreamed. God’s opened so many doors, and I’m just walking through them in faith.”

But Anne’s not slowing down. She’s about to hit the road this summer with Morgan Wallen on his I’m The Problem Tour—a career milestone she admits has her feeling a little nervous (in the best way!).

“We’re playing Seattle, San Francisco, and a bunch of summer festivals,” she shared. “It’s going to be wild—huge stadiums. I’m terrified, honestly. But I think once I get there, I’ll be ready.”

Anne’s also packing some new music for the road—literally. “I’m going to need like 10 luggages,” she joked. “I’m bringing all the outfits, all the boots. But seriously, we’ll be debuting some new songs during those shows. I can’t wait to share them.”

Additionally, the Lexington, Kentucky native dropped just a few breadcrumbs about her next album, but what she did say? Pure Gen Z magic.

“It’s very different than REBEL, but still has the same heart,” she teased. “There’s a huge faith element, but it’s exploring a different side of me as an artist. I’ve been reflecting on my childhood, my dreams, and what shaped me.”

Then she gave us a dreamy hint: “It’s kind of iridescent… like a space vibe. I can’t share the title yet, but it’s definitely going to show people a different part of who I am.”

It’s a bold creative pivot that still stays rooted in her values—and her fans will no doubt be here for it.

For Anne Wilson, it all comes back to faith. Her music isn’t just catchy—it’s healing, hopeful, and purpose-driven. Whether she’s leading a crowd in worship, touring stadiums, or making fashion statements on stage, she’s walking a God-ordained path with every step.

“I try to take time for myself through all the craziness,” she told us. “Time with family, rest, vacations—it keeps me grounded. But really, my faith is what keeps me going.”

She added: “I hope my songs encourage people to remember that sometimes being a rebel ain’t such a bad thing. After all, the one I follow was a rebel like me.”
