Did Taylor Swift finally get her “Love Story”? Life & Style reports that Swift and her boyfriend Joe Alywn got engaged after being in a relationship for the past 5 years.
The couple have been known to spark engagement rumors before, but it seems this time may be the real deal, as it is reported that the two got engaged on a recent trip to Cornwall, England.
Swift and Alywn met each other in 2016 and sparks flew as their relationship continued to blossom. The couple have been very private about their relationship, but we have been able to get a few moments of the couple talking about each other.
In an interview with British Vogue in 2018, Alywn briefly talked about Swift saying, “I’m aware people want to know about that side of things. I think we have been successfully very private, and that has now sunk in for people.”
Swift also mentioned Alywn when accepting her award for Album of the Year at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards back in March in Los Angeles.
Swift lovingly said, “Joe, who is the first person that I sing every single song that I write,” continuing with the fact that she had, “so much fun writing songs in quarantine” with Alywn.
Reps for Swift and Alywn have yet to confirm the engagement. But that hasn’t stopped fans from sharing their opinion and being just as confused about the speculation.
