Awards season is officially here!
The nominees for the 2022 Latin American Music Awards have arrived. Bad Bunny and Jhay Cortez lead the nominations for the awards show.
Thanks to his album El Último Tour del Mundo, the single “Dákiti” and hit collaboration “Volví” with Aventura, Bad Bunny has ten nominations, including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Collaboration of the Year, as well as Viral Song of the Year with “AM.”
Jhay Cortez holds eight nominations, which include Artist of the Year, Song of the Year for “Dákiti“, and Favorite Song – Urban for “Dákiti” and “Fiel,” the latter also nominated for Collaboration of the Year and Viral Song of the Year.
Following with seven nominations are Colombian artists J Balvin, Karol G, and Puerto Rican artist Rauw Alejandro.
Other nominees include Camilo, Grupo Firme and Kali Uchis, Aventura, Mike Towers, Annita, Sebastián Yatra, Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga, Farruko, Camila Cabello, Maluma, and many more.
The awards ceremony will broadcast LIVE on Telemundo on Thursday, April 21 beginning at 7pm/6c from the Michelob ULTRA Arena at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
