We are so excited for the premiere of Nickelodeon’s new series Bella and the Bulldogs!
With only four days ’till the two-part special premieres, CS4U is giving you the breakdown on what you can expect from the show straight from Bella herself, Brec Bassinger!
If you aren’t familiar with the show already, Bella and the Bulldogs follows Bella Dawson (Brec Bassinger), a confident, caring and talented teenager, suddenly finding herself fulfilling a lifelong dream but also having to navigate the world of her teammates Trow (Coy Stewart), Sawyer (Jackie Radinsky) and Newt (Buddly Handelson), without losing her two best friends, Pepper (Hayley Tju) and Sophie (Lilimar) from the cheer squad.
In the special two-part series premiere, head cheerleader Bella earns a chance to try out to be quarterback of her middle school football team. Led by current quarterback Troy, the rest of the team does everything in their power to make her give up, but through perseverance, Bella rises to the challenge to make her dream a reality.
CS4U caught up with Brec later last year in New York City. In our interview, Brec tells us what we can expect from Bella and the Bulldogs, her character Bella Dawson, and her secret talent — saying the ABC’s backwards!
Bella and the Bulldogs premieres this Saturday, January 17th @ 8PM ET/PT on Nickelodeon.
