Brooklyn was serving major vibes this past Saturday (September 6) as CÎROC officially debuted The CÎROC Cup, a pickleball-meets-luxury lifestyle takeover at the stunning Skylight at The Refinery. As part of the brand’s new CÎROC Athletic Club initiative, the event flipped the script on what it means to “do sport” — less sweat, more style, and always with a cocktail in hand. And yes, the Celeb Secrets gals were courtside soaking in every detail.
The setting? A glass-domed penthouse in a 19th-century Brooklyn landmark with sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline — the same space that once hosted Hermès’ first-ever NYC menswear runway show. This time, though, it was transformed into the ultimate athleisure playground.
Hosted by none other than “Pickleball Coach to the Stars” Matt Manasse, the tournament brought together pros, athletes, and NYC tastemakers who battled it out for a grand prize worthy of any tennis fanatic — two tickets to the US Open Men’s Final. The sidelines were just as buzzing as the matches, with Chelley Bissainthe hyping up Ace Greene, while sisters Brooks and Sarah Jane Nader turned their courtside seats into a girls’ day out. Brooks was even seen raising her spritz in one hand with caviar in another.
Because no CÎROC event is complete without a signature sip, guests were treated to an on-theme cocktail lineup featuring the Pickled Limonata Spritz and The Transfusion, both perfectly paired with a curated food menu. Add in beats from DJ Rae Sada, and the whole afternoon felt like a culture-meets-sport block party in the sky.
In true trendsetter form, CÎROC made sure leisure stayed luxe. Guests rotated between matches and activations like the Hyperice Recovery Zone, complete with Normatec massage chairs and Hypervolt tools, or popped over to Remedy Place for quick B12 shots — the ultimate courtside boost.
