Callista Clark Says the Release of Her Debut Album “Real To Me: The Way I Feel” Has Been ‘So Fun’ (Exclusive)

At just 19 years old, Callista Clark has officially released her first ever full-length album Real To Me: The Way I Feel, and it is clear this is just the beginning of major success for the budding country artist.

As of Friday, October 14th, this 10-track project is available on all music streaming platforms, and it gives the listener a clear glimpse into Clark’s musical style, as well as her raw talent.

Produced by Nathan Chapman, who has worked with A-list celebrities like Taylor Swift, Lionel Richie, Keith Urban, and Mickey Guyton, this album is incredible from top to bottom. Remaining extremely vulnerable and touching on personal stories, Clark captures everything it means to be a young woman in this album, including both the heartbreaks and triumphs of growing up.

When chatting with Celeb Secrets reporter Melanie Rooten, Callista Clark revealed the true meaning behind this very special album.

Real To Me: The Way I Feel is all about progress and self-growth and self-confidence and validating emotions no matter where you’re at in life, which is something that I think is relatable to me and hopefully something that is relatable to everyone, no matter how old or young you are,” Clark said.

When asked about her favorite track on the album, Clark told Celeb Secrets that aside from “Real To Me,” which she continues naming her projects after, she thinks her song “Brave Girl” is really something special.

“I got to play [‘Brave Girl’] on The Today Show, and it’s just been really great to watch that song grow and watch people connect to it,” Clark said.

She also touched on the meaning behind the track, and she indicated that “it’s about learning yourself as a person and figuring out your own self-confidence.”

“I was trying to think of songs that I was missing, and when I thought about what “Real To Me” meant, I felt like I had to write a song about the fact that when I was growing up I was super shy… so I wrote this song for my younger self,” she explained.

While all of the songs are great, Clark also gave Celeb Secrets some EXCLUSIVE news about a new track coming out soon! She revealed that for one of the songs on Real To Me: The Way I Feel, “there’s an alternate version with someone very special,” and we seriously can’t wait to hear it.

Aside from celebrating the release of her debut album, Clark is about to hit the road with country superstar Brett Young for a sold-out run of shows in the UK. Clark is extremely excited to go on tour, and “fingers crossed that [she] get[s] to do a song with [Brett Young] and his band, that would be incredible.”
