Caroline Jones has entered her bold era.
The singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and first-ever female member of Zac Brown Band is making waves with her newest single, “No Tellin’,” and we’re not just talking about the banjo.
Released via Big Machine Label Group/Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment, the stompin’, string-powered anthem is Caroline’s first release since signing with the powerhouse label — and it sends a clear message: she’s not afraid to speak the hard truths anymore.
“It’s about the courage it takes to be honest about abuse and to reclaim your voice and your worth,” Caroline tells Celeb Secrets in an exclusive phone interview. “Sometimes we silence ourselves because we think that’s the noble thing to do. But that silence can actually be what enables cycles to continue. This song is me breaking that silence.”
And break it she does. “No Tellin’” builds on Caroline’s signature blend of country, bluegrass, and Americana, mixing traditional instruments with modern storytelling to create something that feels like both a confession and a battle cry. With its driving acoustic riffs, poignant strings, and emotionally-charged vocals, the song empowers survivors while calling out a culture of secrecy.
“I wanted it to have that dramatic, Appalachian feel to reflect the inner turmoil that comes with holding onto painful truths,” she shares. “There’s something ancient and universal about those string sounds that help carry the weight of the story.”

This track marks her debut release with Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment, and it kicks off what Jones describes as a “pivotal” new chapter.
“I’m thrilled about this next chapter! This partnership feels like a natural, organic step forward in my evolution as an artist,” she says in statement serviced in a press release earlier this year. “The team is fantastic to work with and create alongside. I’m so proud of the sound that Julian Raymond, Ric Wake and I are crafting.”
Big Machine Label Group CEO Scott Borchetta agrees. “Caroline is such an impressive talent, from her songwriting to her first-rate musicality. She fits perfectly among the groundbreaking, unique artists at Nashville Harbor and we are so proud to have her join the family.”
Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment CEO Jimmy Harnen echoed the sentiment, saying, “Scott and I have been big fans of Caroline for a long time. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to welcome her.”

While Caroline might be entering a new professional era, she’s certainly no stranger to country fans. Her journey has been one of grit, growth, and genre-bending experimentation. She officially joined Zac Brown Band as a full-time member in 2022 after opening for them for three years and earning her stripes as a featured guest. Now, she brings a fierce feminine energy to the GRAMMY-winning group’s dynamic live performances.
“It’s an honor to play alongside musicians of that caliber. I’ve learned so much from Zac and the guys—not just musically, but in terms of how to lead with integrity and passion,” she says.
Outside of ZBB, Caroline’s third studio album, Homesite, dropped in 2023 and included major collabs with Vince Gill and Zac Brown Band. Her previous album, Antipodes, debuted at #4 on the iTunes Country Chart and gave us the viral Top 30 hit, “Come In (But Don’t Make Yourself Comfortable),” which still has TikTok doing high-kicks in cowboy boots.
She’s also shared the stage with country legends and global icons alike—from the late Jimmy Buffett (who mentored her early in her career) to Kenny Chesney, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, and The Eagles.
“Jimmy Buffett really shaped my perspective on longevity and joy,” she says. “He was someone who built his own universe of music and fans. That kind of creative control and connection with your audience is what I aspire to.”

And while 2024 marked the beginning of her label debut era, it also marked a major personal milestone: motherhood.
“It’s the most transformative experience,” Caroline gushes. “Everything changes—your priorities, your perspective, your purpose. Becoming a mother deepened my sense of empathy and clarity, both in my writing and my daily life.”
But don’t mistake her vulnerability for softness—if anything, it’s sharpened her creative edge.
“You gain this superpower where you have no time for BS,” she laughs. “It’s made me braver in my storytelling. I’m not afraid to say things now that I might’ve tiptoed around before.”

For Caroline, “No Tellin'” isn’t just a single—it’s a mission statement.
“The themes of abuse and shame and reclaiming your value—these are conversations we need to have in country music,” she tells us. “It’s not about calling anyone out. It’s about freeing yourself and hopefully empowering others to do the same.”
The response from fans has already proven the song’s power.
“I’ve had people reach out to me in tears saying this gave them language for something they never knew how to express,” she shares. “That’s the most beautiful part of being an artist.”
With more new music in the works and tour dates lined up with Zac Brown Band this summer, Caroline Jones is just getting started.
“Country music is shifting in exciting ways,” she says. “There’s more room for different sounds, different voices, and different stories. I’m here to tell mine as honestly as I can.”
Consider this your invitation to stream “No Tellin’” on repeat, add it to your healing playlist, and catch Caroline Jones live if you get the chance. Whether she’s strumming a dobro or delivering a raw truth, one thing is certain: this is a woman on a mission.
And if there’s one thing about Caroline Jones? There’s no tellin’ where she’ll go next—but we’ll be watching every step of the way.
