The wait is finally over! Charlie Puth has announced his third studio album, Charlie.
Yesterday (June 6), Puth posted a video to his Instagram of a pixelated version of the artwork, followed by a series of tweets of fans asking about the album. He promised fans in a TikTok comment that the unpixelated version would be up the following day.

Puth kept his promise and made the official announcement on his social media pages along with the unpixelated cover art! He captioned the post, “This is the official artwork for my album CHARLIE. This album was born on the internet, and I’ve had so much fun making it in front of all of you this past year. 2019 me used to think that in order to be an artist, you had to hide away and talk to nobody to make your art. Turns out you make MUCH better art when you involve millions of people in the process. (For me at least.).”
He finished the post by sharing, “I hope you scream cry every word when I sing these songs on tour because they wouldn’t be here without you. Thank you. CHARLIE – out October 7th, 2022.”

Puth has been teasing the album on social media for quite a long time. The singer has even released three singles this past year including: “That’s Hilarious”, “Lightswitch”, and his latest release with BTS’s Jungkook, “Left and Right“.
Puth’s last album release was back in 2018 when he released Voicenotes. So, it’s safe to say that fans are excited about this new album!
