Cody Simpson & The Tide Release Live Version of “Tell Me Why” – Watch Now

Cody Simpson & The Tide just released a live version of their foot tapping tune “Tell Me Why” and we’re loving every second of it!

The track is featured on the band’s debut EP, Wave One, which pulls inspiration from surf music, rock music, and psychedelia to provide a vivid snapshot of a carefree summer. The EP perfectly encapsulates Venice Beach and the sun-kissed streets of Southern California where it was penned.

“This version of ‘Tell Me Why’ showcases a vibe very similar to how the song was originally written: jamming, spitting out soulful spontaneous lyrics and melodies,” Cody shared.
