CS4U Checks Out Lythgoe Family Productions’ “Sleeping Beauty and Her Winter Knight” on Opening Night! (@olivia_holt @PasPlayhouse)

Lythgoe Family Productions raised the curtain at the Pasadena Playhouse for Sleeping Beauty and Her Winter Knight on Wednesday evening (December 10) in Pasadena, Calif.

The “Panto at the Playhouse,” directed by Bonnie Lythgoe with choreography by Spencer Liff and musical direction by Michael Orland, features Olivia Holt as “Aurora,” Lucy Lawless as “Carabosse”, Garret Clayton as “The Prince of Alhambra,” Patrick Cassidy as “The King of Pasadena,” David Engel as “Nanny Tickle,” Tamyra Gray as “The Good Fairy,” and Ben Giroux as “Silly Billy.”

Sleeping Beauty and Her Winter Knight features family-friendly magic, with a comedic twist, dancing (with “So You Think You Can Dance” alumni), a live pony, audience interaction, and contemporary music from Jessie J’s “Domino” to John Legend’s “All Of Me,” Pharrell Williams “Happy” to Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger” and more. A Panto is known for its interactive style and humor that appeals to everyone from ages 2 – 102!
