Dylan Schneider has made a name for himself as both a songwriter and a solo artist in Nashville. Now, he’s ready to show the world what he’s capable of be releasing his debut album Puzzled on Friday, September 27th.
“I’ve been working towards this debut album for my entire career,” shares Schneider in a press release. “I can’t believe it’s finally here! I have worked so hard on these songs and believe this album truly shows who I am, where I’ve been and where I’m going, and I can’t wait to see everyone’s reaction to it out on the road.”
The 16-track project was co-written by the 24-year-old — apart from the title track that he wrote entirely by himself — and is filled to the brim with his incomparable rock-n-roll edge and pop-country swagger.
“From me being a little more personal to even having some of my favorite, well-written songs… I think as far as the love songs, the fun vibe songs, the sad songs… it feels like a really well-rounded project, so I’m just proud of it,” Dylan tells Celeb Secrets host Juliet Schroder backstage during CMA Fest 2024 earlier this summer of his new music.
“Writing, getting in to the studio and recording is the most fun and the most exciting part of this. To be busy and moving gives you reason to keep doing what you’re doing and makes it exciting for sure,” he continues.
Featuring his TikTok viral hits “Ain’t Missin’ You” and “Bad Decisions”, along with the autobiographical “Daddy Drinks Whiskey,” the artist to watch gave fans yet another taste of what to expect from his upcoming debut project by releasing his version of Dustin Lynch‘s blazingly-stunning, RIIA-certified GOLD, Top 5 hit track “Momma’s House” that he co-wrote alongside Michael Lotten, Rodney Clawson and Justin Wilson on Friday (August 30).
With no signs of slowing down, the tenacious road warrior will hit major markets such as Los Angeles, Nashville, Dallas, Chicago, Seattle and more on his headlining 2024 Bad Decisions Tour this fall that has already sold out in numerous cities. Having been out with Nate Smith and Kane Brown this year, Schneider continues the momentum opening on Luke Bryan’s Mind of a Country Boy Tour and Mitchell Tenpenny’s Woke Up In A Dream Tour.
When Dylan performs alongside some of the genre’s biggest names, he says he takes it all in, as he hopes to hit the big stage as a headliner in the near future.
“To be even a small part of those tours is just an honor. I’m the kid that goes out and every single time and watches the people after me. I take in everything and I take mental notes and see what they’re doing. I want to be in that same spot at some point, so I always just try and soak it all in and take any advice they give and watch how they perform their show and how they address a crowd,” he tells Celeb Secrets of his runs with Smith and Brown.
As for hitting the road with Luke, these four dates are super sentimental to the Indiana native, as he will be performing at his hometown venue — where he saw the entertainer multiple times — next Saturday, September 7th.
“For Luke Bryan, I am playing the amphitheater [with him] that I grew up going to shows all my life. I’ve seen him there three times, so to get to play it together will be pretty cool. It’s like a full circle thing for sure,” he shares.
