If you were an avid fan of the old Disney Channel shows like Wizards of Waverly Place, Jonas, or Good Luck Charlie ,then you probably know who Bridgit Mendler is. If you don’t, well, here’s your chance to get acquainted.
Mendler sent fans into a frenzy when she posted on Twitter, audios of her in what sounded like a studio session for a new song she’s been working on.

It’s been almost 10 years since the Lemonade Mouth star released her debut album, Hello My Name Is… and almost four years since her last song release, “Diving,” so her fans have been waiting so long to hear some new music from Mendler and it looks like they won’t have to wait much longer.
Not only is Mendler an under-appreciated and great actress, but she’s also an incredible songwriter, with multiple writing credits for the Lemonade Mouth movie soundtrack and her own work, including “Ready or Not” from her debut album; which peaked at number 49 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 30 on the Billboard 200, respectfully.
On top of working on her new music, Mendler is also attending MIT Media Lab as a Ph.D. student after getting an Anthropology degree from USC.
Although we can only hope she’ll release new music later this year, Mendler is also juggling her studies on top of recording sessions. We’ve waited almost 10 years, we can definitely wait a little bit longer!
