Here’s the Step by Step Breakdown on How to Achieve the LoveShackFancy x tarte NYFW Makeup Looks

When tarte cosmetics teams up with LoveShackFancy, you just know it’s going to be flirty, feminine, and a little bit fearless.

For New York Fashion Week this season, tarte stepped in as LSF’s official makeup sponsor, with lead artist Shyanna Lundi crafting looks that felt fresh, modern, and lit-from-within. The vibe? Luminous skin, soft sculpting, and romantic color that captured the season’s mood — equal parts soft romance and subtle edge.

“LoveShackFancy is rooted in romance, confidence, and individuality,” said Maureen Kelly, Founder & CEO of tarte cosmetics in a statement. “We wanted the makeup to enhance that spirit—elevated, expressive, and effortlessly beautiful.”

To no surprise, the heart of both beauty moments was the iconic shape tape™ concealer, delivering sculpted skin without ever feeling heavy. No powder. No cakey finish. Just glow.

Below, we’re breaking down both runway looks — “Girly Grunge” and “Monochrome Romance” — so you can recreate the tarte glam at home and be ahead of the new beauty trends for next season.

LOOK 1: Girly Grunge

A little hazy, a little rebellious, but still undeniably romantic. Think: cool-girl energy in a vintage lace dress.

SKIN: Sculpted, Bare & Glowing

If you’re looking for the ultimate backstage secret, tarte says its by using cream products and zero powder.

To start the “Girly Grunge” look, begin with shape tape stick concealer ($32) as your base. Blend seamlessly for sculpted, luminous coverage. As we mentioned before, this look has zero powder as the goal is to keep the glow alive.

Warm up the complexion using park ave princess bronzer ($48) on the forehead, cheeks, and nose for soft, sunkissed definition. To obtain a romantic flush, the brand’s macaron blush ($38) in Strawberry Bliss gives you that fresh-off-the-runway rosiness; but the real element to pull the whole skin together is by adding the go with the faux freckle stamp ($26) for a whimsical, undone touch.

EYES: Hazy & Smoldering

The eyes is where the “grunge” subtly steps in. To start, blend bronzer (either maneater silk stick bronzer ($29) or park ave princess) into the crease and outer corner for soft contour. Then, apply smolderEYES ($26) in Gaze to the center of the lid and inner corner for a luminous pop.

To create that hazy, lived-in smoke, make sure to deepen the outer corner and lower lashline with smolderEYES in Smoke Show. Then, you prime your lashes with tartelette tubing lash primer ($28), followed by tartelette tubing mascara ($28) to curled lashes for fluttery length without clumps.

BROWS: Feathered & Natural

Brows should feel groomed, not overly sculpted. for this, make sure to brush up with brows for days framing gel ($25) only if needed and lightly fill sparse areas using the amazonian clay fine brow pencil ($24) for subtle definition.

LIPS: Juicy & Plush

The lip combo is everything, as it’s soft glam with just enough attitude. According to Lundi, you can achieve this look by mixing maracuja juicy lip plumping liner ($23) in Blushed Rose and Honey. Apply with a brush all over the lips, slightly overlining for fullness. To top off the look, apply maracuja juicy lip gloss ($27) in Strawberry Milk for that glossy, pillowy finish.

LOOK 2: Monochrome Romance

If “Girly Grunge” is the cool best friend, “Monochrome Romance” is the dreamy lead in a love story. It leans into velvety pinks and diffused flush, turning romance all the way just in time for spring.

This look leans into velvety pinks and diffused flush, with romance turned all the way up.

SKIN: Fresh & Flushed

To get your skin looking like skin — but better — begin again with shape tape stick concealer ($32) as your radiant base. No powder… ever. Add warmth using park ave princess bronzer ($48) across forehead, cheeks, and nose. Then, press macaron blush in Honey Blossom onto cheeks for a soft, diffused monochrome glow, and stamp lightly with go with the faux freckle stamp ($26) for that romantic, ethereal finish.

EYES: Pink & Diffused

For your eyes, he key here is layering tones within the same color family. Start by taking the maneater after dark volume II eyeshadow palette ($55) sweeping a pink shadow into the crease and outer corner and don’t forget to add mauve shadow to the outer lid and lower lashline for dimension.

Use smolderEYES ($26) in Gaze as a luminous base, then layer a pink shimmer on the lid and finish with tartelette tubing mascara ($28) on curled lashes for soft definition.

BROWS: Softly Defined

To achieve the best softly defined brow, lightly shape with  brows for days framing gel ($25) if needed. Then, fill sparingly with the amazonian clay fine brow pencil ($24) for balance.

LIPS: Petal-Soft Shine

For lips, tarte says to line and softly fill lips using maracuja juicy lip plumping liner ($23) in Cool Mauve. It should be topped with maracuja juicy lip gloss ($27) in Pink Lemonade for a juicy, high-shine finish.
