The Sanderson Sisters are back, witches! The long-awaited teaser trailer for Hocus Pocus 2 has officially been released.
Disney+ dropped the trailer on June 28th across all their social media platforms, and it brought back all the nostalgia while watching.
It’s been 29 years since the Black Flame was last lit and it looks like three high school girls are going to change that. In the trailer, one of the high school girls is turning sixteen, and to celebrate they decide to conjure up a spell that brings back some iconic characters.
Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy reprised their roles to play the Sanderson Sisters. Hocus Pocus fans catch a glimpse of the three witches towards the end of the trailer as lightning flashes over them as we hear Winifred Sanderson [Midler] shout, “Lock up your children. Yes, Salem, we’re back!”
The trailer shows a full shot of the legendary characters at the end who are bound to bring mayhem to the new world! The highly anticipated sequel will officially be released on September 30 on Disney+.
