Industry vet India Shawn has been lending her musical talents to the industry for over 10 years and it definitely shows when listening to her infectious R&B songs.
Before releasing her debut EP Origin in 2012, the LA native already had writing credits and song placements under her belt as a member of her writing team, Full Circle. She’s worked with top names including Chris Brown, Keri Hilson, and Monica, and even landed a Solange Knowles feature on her popular track, “I’m Alive.”
Fast forward to 2019 — Shawn found herself apart of Kanye West‘s historic Sunday Service at Coachella 2019. Anderson .Paak also invited her on the road to finish up the year as she began recording her next chapter. Just last year, the R&B singer teamed up with Anderson again for “Movin’ On,” released her 6LACK collaboration “Not Too Deep” and was featured on NPR Music: Tiny Desk Concert Series performing with The Free Nationals, Anderson .Paak, and Chronixx.
