Lexi Rivera Spills All on Her Cupshe ‘Island Time’ Collection, Hawaii Shoot & What Makes This Drop So Different (Exclusive)

If the cold weather has you fantasizing about ocean breezes and tan-line selfies, you’re in luck — Lexi Rivera is officially declaring it “Island Time.”

The social media star has teamed up with global fashion brand Cupshe on a brand-new 35-piece swim and resort collection, and she personally walked Celeb Secrets through every sun-kissed detail in our exclusive interview.

Available exclusively on Cupshe.com, the collection marks the start of swim season and kicks off Cupshe’s refreshed brand direction, including the debut of the brand’s new logo and new, elevated silhouettes designed for the gals who love wearing the hottest trends.

For Lexi, the collab wasn’t just a business move, it was beyond on-brand. “Swimsuits are like… I’m in a swimsuit most of the year,” she laughed. “I love tropical vacations, I love the designing process, and I just love swimsuits in general.” She knew Cupshe was the right partner immediately: “I know how much work they put into designing their pieces, and it just sounded like a really cool opportunity. I’m glad I did it. It was so much fun.”

Of course, one detail made the offer extra tempting. “When they mentioned we’d go to Hawaii, I was all in… I’m just kidding,” she teased. But yes, the campaign really was shot on location in Hawaii, featuring the shores of Kaʻaʻawa Beach and surrounding beach-town streets to capture the carefree, adventurous mood of the line.

The trip itself was surreal. “I am by no means a model, but on that trip I definitely felt like one,” Lexi told us. “They were day shoots at super cool locations, everything was set up really well… it was different for me, but definitely very fun.” One moment stands above the rest: “Probably the first day,” she revealed. “We went to this really cool beach, we took a boat there. I think it was called Secret Beach. They made me feel really comfortable, so that day stands out.”

The Island Time collection includes 23 bikinis and one-pieces along with 12 beach cover-ups and vacation dresses, designed to transition effortlessly from beach to street. Prices range from $26 to $47 with sizes XXS to XL, making the drop both accessible and elevated — exactly who Cupshe is aiming to be as it moves into a new era of trend-driven, social-first fashion.

The vibe? Lexi didn’t hesitate. “One word? Sexy,” she said.

She also revealed her personal favorites, and to no surprise, they are very Lexi-coded. “There are two cheetah-print swimsuits and they’re both very, very cute,” she dished. “There’s also a cheetah dress and then a cheetah shirt and pants — and I love anything cheetah.”

Plus, she’s already planning how she’d style them. “If I wore the cheetah print swimsuit during the day, I would wear the cheetah print dress at night for dinner,” she shared.

The inspiration behind the line came straight from her own closet. “My style is a little all over the place,” she admitted. “But I try to strive for a classier, chic vibe. With swimsuits, I love prints and the specific cuts that are in the line.”

That aligns perfectly with Cupshe’s goal for the collection: effortless, sunkissed moments and spontaneous vacation days, with silhouettes that feel confident and unhurried.

Designing Island Time also opened Lexi’s eyes to the fashion world. “I went in for sizing a few times and they laid out mood boards of what the vibe might be,” she shared. “Seeing pieces on paper come to life — and then wearing them — was super cool. I didn’t realize how much work goes into making the pieces and designing them. I had no idea.”

First person to see the final product? No hesitation. “My mom,” she smiled. “I really value my mom’s opinion… she loved them.”

Beyond fashion, Lexi is reflecting on life online with tens of millions of followers across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Each platform serves a different version of her. “Instagram is most like my personal vibe — my style is easier to show there,” she said. “Personality-wise, that’s probably TikTok and YouTube.”

Balancing it all? Still a work in progress. “Knowing when to clock out is important,” she admitted. “Sometimes I’ll even have dreams about work and videos… it’s bad. But learning when to stop thinking about it matters.”

Looking ahead to 2026, she’s manifesting two words: more vacations and maybe more fashion. “This collaboration opened my eyes to wanting to do more things similar to it… so yeah, who knows,” she teased.

But right now, she wants fans focused on one thing — Island Time. “Get the pieces when they come out,” Lexi told us. “They’re very cute and I think everyone will love them.”
