Logan Crosby Talks Releasing Debut Album & Embarking on First-Ever Headlining Tour – “The Nerves Are Starting to Get to Me”(Exclusive)

Logan Crosby is ready to tell his story.

The soulful, Georgia-bred singer has shared details regarding his forthcoming debut album, 2019, and first-ever headline tour by the same name. Set to hit music streaming platforms on Friday, September 27th, 2019 marks Logan’s first full-length body of work and follows his debut EP 23 Days In LA that dropped last July.

“The nerves are starting to get to me,” Logan tells Celeb Secrets host Juliet Schroder backstage at CMA Fest 2024 earlier this month. “We’ve been working on it since the summer of last year — probably a year — just like working and writing songs and figuring our kind of what we wanted to say.”

Featuring lead singles “You’re Still,” “Girl Next Door” and “2019” — plus ten additional songs — the new project promises to stay true to who Logan is as an artist thanks to full creative control from his neo-traditional sound and nostalgic lyrics all the way to the final look of the cover art.

“It’s super fun because being an independent artist, there’s a lot of work that goes into it, but it’s so much fun. I get to pick what the songs are and then we get to pick what I’m going to wear and what the cover art is and all the things. All of the creative stuff that goes into making a record has just been awesome,” he reveals.

To get fans excited for the new music and a taste of what’s to come from his upcoming headlining tour, Logan performed at a slew of shows during CMA Fest 2024 in Downtown Nashville earlier this month, packing out the Whiskey Jam stage, the Hard Rock Stage and a meet-and-greet at Fan Fair X.

“We had a good time. It was a good way to kick off CMA Fest… [Whiskey Jam] was a good Monday night show. We’re hitting all of the spots and I love it,” he shares.

In addition, the “You’re Still” singer will reunite with Megan Moroney for her LUCKY 2.0 Tour and perform at the Calgary Stampede before embarking on his own tour this fall. Kicking off on September 5th in Tuscaloosa, AL, the 12-date run will make stops in Knoxville, Charlotte, Columbia and Nashville before wrapping on September 28th in Fayetteville, AR.

As to how he’s preparing for his first-ever headlining run, Logan tells Celeb Secrets, “We started touring with Kameron Marlowe back in January, so we’ve been out on the road since then and we’ve been hitting it hard and that’s been fun. Going to put together a headlining show, like you’ve played a bunch of these songs in front of people, and like you can see what the crow likes and doesn’t like, how they react… all the things. It’s easier putting it together whenever we all sit down.”

“It’s still a pinch me moment when I see people singing my songs back to me on stage. They say that’s the whole point of being an artist — putting out music for them to do that — but it just doesn’t feel like. Like doesn’t feel real,” he continues.

Tickets go onsale this Friday, June 21st, and you can learn more about it by visiting Logan’s website at logancrosby.com.
