Best known for her 2016 breakout single “Pretty Girl,” Maggie Lindemann is entering into a new era of music today with her highly-anticipated EP PARANOIA.
Despite “Pretty Girl” shooting the alternative pop artist into stardom with platinum status and over 1 billion streams, the 22-year-old has yet to put out a full project — until now. Recently, we sat down (virtually) with Maggie, where she opened up about why she is releasing the project now and how she finally found a sound that finally fits her.
“Just like growing up in life, you grow up in music,” Lindemann tells Celeb Secrets. Having been in the spotlight since she was 16, Lindemann did not have adequate time to fully discover her artistry and develop a sound that felt true to herself. Taking some time to evolve as both an artist and a human, Maggie feels more confident than ever in PARANOIA and the content surrounding it. For Maggie, the music finally feels right, and we’re positive that you’ll love it too.

Throughout 2020, Lindemann released four tracks from PARANOIA — “Knife Under My Pillow,” “GASLIGHT! (feat. Siiickbrain),” “Scissorhands,” and “Loner,” which have all quickly become both fan and press favorites. Additionally, Maggie made her acting debut in Machine Gun Kelly’s wildly popular film, Downfalls High, which came out just one week ago and did 16 million views in its opening weekend. You can view our favorite moments from the flick here.
A limited amount of PARANOIA vinyl will be available for preorder today at 1 PM EST / 10 AM PST on shopmaggielindemann.com – and will be released on March 19. This week, Maggie also released the fifth episode of her swixxzaudio podcast, in which she answered questions submitted by fans – listen to that HERE.
