TEAM USA – SKATEBOARD STREET

JAGGER EATON
Age: 20
Hometown: Mesa, AZ

Guiness World Record breaker and soon to be Olympian Jagger Eaton one of the ones to watch at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics this year!
The Arizona native is titled as X Games’ youngest competitor at age 11, and has lined up a number of credits; his past wins includeTampa Am contest (2014), Phoenix Am (2017), X Games Minneapolis (2017), Tampa Pro (2018), and many more. His success would not have been possible without his father, who runs Arizona’s KTR Family Action Sports Center. The facility is one of the nation’s first dedicated skateboarding facilities, and has been home to Eaton since childhood.

NYJAH HUSTON
Age: 26
Hometown: Davis, CA

When you think of modern skateboarding, Nyjah Huston is the guy that comes to mind. His talents have put him in the likes of legendary skaters like Tony Hawk, Ryan Sheckler, Bob Burnquist among others, and his resume of wins are just a small fraction of what the 26-year-old is really capable of.
The top Team USA qualifier began skating at a young age. In 2005, his family bought a skate park, to which they attended almost every day of the week. It wasn’t until 2010 when Houston started competing, and the rest is history. The four-time World Champion and 13-time X Games gold medalist currently holds the record for the most prize money earned by a skateboarder in contests worldwide, and we’re almost positive that he will take the biggest prize of them all in Tokyo this month — an Olympic gold medal. He was also named “Best Male Action Sports Athlete” at the ESPYS in 2013, 2014 and 2019.

JAKE ILLARDI
Age: 24
Hometown: Ospery, Florida
Social Media: @jakeilardi
After finishing second place at the Oi Stu Open in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil a year and a half ago, competitive skateboarding came to a halt due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. Jake used the time at home to perfect his tricks, specifically on the rails, which resulted in a guaranteed spot on Team USA after finishing eighth in the Olympic Trials. Still pushing himself to be the best skater he can be, the 24-year-old is now ranked the second best street skateboarder in the United States; one spot behind his teammate Nyjah Huston.
