If you didn’t already know that Morgan Wallen is the biggest name in country music right now, just ask any of the 65,000+ fans who packed into Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium last Friday, July 11. The completely sold-out show was the first of two back-to-back dates in the Sunshine State — and let’s just say, he set the bar sky-high for every stadium tour of the summer.
Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour isn’t just a concert — it’s a full-blown experience. From pyro-heavy entrances to emotional acoustic sets, and even surprise remixes blasting through the speakers, the night was a rollercoaster of country, hip-hop, and pure Southern charm.

But before the mullet king took the stage, Gavin Adcock made his stadium debut with an opening set that brought real grit and gravel to the mic. Rocking through crowd-pleasers like “Old Farm Drive,” “Need To” and “A Cigarette,” Adcock’s unapologetic country-boy energy hit hard, proving he’s more than just a viral moment — he’s a rising star.
“I told my guys back when we were playing 250-cap rooms, ‘We’re gonna play stadiums one day. We’re gonna go all the way to the top.’ And now we’re here.” Gavin told us at CMA Fest 2025 last month, adding that his OG crew is still with him to this day. And now? Stadiums are officially checked off the vision board.
Next up? Miranda Lambert, who reminded the 305 exactly why she’s still one of the most badass women in country music, as she oozed cool and set the perfect tone for what was about to be one of the biggest nights in Miami country music history. With a Texas twang and a fierce stage presence, she tore through fan favorites like “Kerosene,” “Bluebird,” and “Mama’s Broken Heart.” Her cover of Wallen’s “Thought You Should Know” felt like a passing of the torch moment, while the closing performance of “Gunpowder & Lead” left the crowd screaming.

Then came the moment we’d all been waiting for.
The lights went dark. The crowd erupted. And the opening notes of Wallen’s “Broadway Girls” blasted through the stadium, turning Hard Rock into the country-meets-hip-hop block party we didn’t know we needed. No celeb walk-on, no gimmicks — just fire, fireworks, and an unreleased “Miami” remix featuring Rick Ross and Lil Wayne that had social media absolutely flipping out.
Morgan Wallen isn’t just a performer — he’s a showman. A damn good one. Wallen skipped out (literally) with swagger, launching straight into “Ain’t That Some,” and the tone was set: this wasn’t going to be your average country show.
Backed by a top-tier band and visuals that lit up the stadium, Wallen powered through a 25-song setlist stacked with chart-toppers and deep cuts, including “Kick Myself,” “20 Cigarettes,” “You Proof,” “Thinkin’ Bout Me” and “Whiskey Glasses.” His newest radio single, “I Got Better,” hit especially hard when he introduced it as “one of the most personal songs” on his latest record.

Halfway through the show, Wallen made his way to a stripped-back B-stage to give fans in the back an intimate taste of where it all started. Singing “Cover Me Up,” “I’m A Little Crazy” and “Sand In My Boots” with just a guitar and some lights, he got real with the crowd:
“One thing that I miss about playing those smaller places is I could go out on stage every night, and I could pretty much look at every single person in the eyes. That’s not possible now, but this is my best attempt at getting a little bit closer to you,” he said.
It was a moment of pure connection — a rare kind of honesty you don’t always get from artists at this level. But that’s the thing about Morgan Wallen: he never forgets where he came from, and he makes sure you don’t either.
Back on the main stage, the crowd went wild when Gavin Adcock returned for a high-energy duet of “Up Down”, followed by Miranda Lambert joining Wallen for a jaw-dropping performance of “Cowgirls” that had the Miami crowd on its feet.
By the time the encore rolled around, Wallen strolled out donning a Cam Ward jersey — a nod to The U and his Tennessee Titans’ new quarterback. He closed the night with some of his most successful tracks, including “Last Night,” his feature on Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help,” “I’m The Problem,” “Just In Case” and “The Way I Talk,” signing autographs and shaking hands well past the final song. Not many artists of this magnitude would stay nearly 30 minutes after the show just to say thank you. But Morgan Wallen’s gratitude runs as deep as his discography — and it shows.

Beyond the music, Wallen is using his platform for good. Through his 2025 Tour Give Back initiative, the Morgan Wallen Foundation is giving back to local music programs in each city he visits, making sure the next generation of artists have the tools they need to thrive.
The I’m The Problem Tour continues throughout the summer, with stops in Seattle, Toronto, Glendale, Santa Clara, and more — featuring rotating support from artists like Brooks & Dunn, Thomas Rhett, Koe Wetzel, and of course, Lambert and Adcock on select nights.
If Morgan Wallen’s coming to a stadium near you — run, don’t walk. He’s the kind of headliner that makes a stadium feel like your backyard — rowdy, emotional, and unforgettable, making it the must-see country tour of the summer. For a full list of tour dates, click here.
