After many years of dribbling in NBA stadiums, Dwyane Wade is ready to host a high pressure game show.
Based on a similar show that saw great success in the UK, The Cube will test American players both physically and mentally.
To make things even more intense, participants will have to complete every challenge while trapped inside a glass cube. ‘The Cube’ comes with “it’s own mind and attitude” built up in 50 feet of steel and plexiglass, according to a press release from Warner Media.
Fun fact: ‘The Cube’ even interacts with gamers and it has a voice of its own! In a sneak peek, we hear ‘The Cube’ talk to a few players in an intimidating style: “I’m not here to make friends. To defeat me you will need nerves of steel.”
With a quarter of a million dollars on the line, participants will find themselves faced with an intimidation feat. Thankfully, they will have access to nine lives through the duration of seven games. On top of all these freebies, each team can call on Wade to enter ‘The Cube’ and offer his athletic capabilities for one shot only.
The Cube is set to premiere on June 10 @ 9PM ET/PT on TBS, so mark your calendars!
