The coming-of-age series packed with intense action, love scandals, and beach drama is finally returning with a second season this summer after the cliff-hanger that season one left for the viewers back in April 2020.
Netflix announced on Wednesday that season two would return on Friday, July 30: perfect timing for a summer binge!

Season one of The Outer Banks gained a lot of popularity and attention, as it was released a month into the pandemic. Many people had nothing else to do but binge-watch new Netflix shows, and this one was one of the most popular choices at the time.
Gaining enough fan support, this show was renewed for a second season which has been in the works throughout this year. The quick turnaround with a second season being released just a year after the first one will surely keep fans invested, entertained, and on the edge of their seats this July.
