Slim Shady has made a comeback!
The American Rapper has released “Houdini,” his first single from his forthcoming project, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), which is obviously topping our New Music Friday (May 31). Can you believe that an Eminem music video is viral in 2024? The video features cameos from A-list personalities such Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Pete Davidson and Shane Gillis, and a younger Eminem also makes an appearance.
The song features a sample of his 2002 song “Without Me” and also mashes Steve Miller Band‘s “Abracadabra.” The song begins with the lyrics: “Guess who’s back, back again / Shady’s back, tell a friend.”

To tease the song earlier in the week, the rapper released a video with magician David Blaine where he asked, “What I was wondering is like, how far can we go with this magic? Like, can we do like a stunt or something? Well for my last trick, I’m gonna make my career disappear.”
