New Music Friday: Rae Sremmurd, Adam Lambert, Loren Gray, Wiz Khalifa, Cuco and More of Today’s Biggest Artists Release New Tracks

It’s the final New Music Friday of 2022 and we are BEYOND excited!!!!!

One of the most notable releases of the week is by the popular hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd, consisting of Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee. We have had their new single “Torpedo” on repeat all morning, and with just one listen, we know you’ll love it too.

This release comes at the PERFECT time, as the iconic duo is performing at Miley Cyrus’ New Year’s Eve Party, co-hosted by Dolly Parton, alongside stars like Sia, Latto, 24k GoldnAnitta, Saweetie, Jack Harlow and more. You can stream this special event tomorrow at 10:30 PM ET on both NBC and Peacock, and maybe you could catch Rae Sremmurd performing their new song 👀

We can already tell that “Torpedo” will be added to the duo’s list of hit singles, along with songs like “Black Beatles,” “This Could Be Us” and even more. Hopefully this is a glimpse at a future album in 2023 too!

“Torpedo” isn’t the only track we’re loving from this week’s New Music Friday playlist. Some other singles that you NEED to check out are “Holding Out for a Hero” by Adam Lambert, “Guilty” by Loren Gray#NeverDrinkingAgain by Wiz Khalifa, “First Of The Year” by Cuco, “BAD TIME GOOD TIME” by Laura Marano, “Revolution” by John Summit, “BLACKOUT” by Mora, “Mykonos Flow” by Kid Ink, “Time for Us” by meija and more. They are all sooooo good!

Some of our favorite artists collaborated on some hot new tracks as well, including Ovy On The Drums and Ozuna for “CHAO BEBE,” Hit-Boy and Avelino for “2 Certified,” Hayden Everett and Jemima Coulter for “Heaven on My Own,” The Haunt and DYLYN for “You Know I’m No Good,” SLANDER, Alison Wonderland and Said The Sky for “Picture” and more. We LOVE it when talented individuals come together to make musical magic!

On top of all of these incredible new songs, Hojean dropped a full length project this week. His new 7-track album Swing is one of our all-time favorite releases on this week’s New Music Friday playlist, and we seriouslyyyyy can’t stop listening to it.

After listening to every single release on this week’s New Music Friday playlist, we gathered up our favorite tracks! Let us know what you think of our selections by either leaving a reaction at the bottom of the post, or by sending us a tweet at @celebsecrets.
