As part of SHEIN’s Fall/Winter ’26 campaign, the sisters are putting their own spin on Retro Remix, proving that the best outfits aren’t about following every trend. They’re about making them your own.
“It’s not about recreating a specific era, it’s about taking the details you love and making them feel like you,” Wendy and Evelyn tell Celeb Secrets. And after looking at the super-fun campaign, they’re taking that assignment seriously. Think nostalgic silhouettes, fresh styling, and two sisters who share a fashion DNA but definitely don’t have identical wish lists.
Naturally, we had to get the tea on their closet-stealing habits. Wendy has her eye on Evelyn’s cropped plaid jacket, while Evelyn is eyeing her sister’s retro flare jeans. Sisterhood is beautiful, but apparently, so is having access to a second closet. Their go-to fall formula is just as easy to recreate: baggy jeans, a baby tee, and layers that match the vibe. Coffee run? Sneakers. Night out? Heels and a leather jacket. Outfit crisis averted.
The sisters also brought their Twitch community behind the scenes of the shoot, letting viewers vote on their favorite pieces. “Chat really is our biggest hypeman,” they share. Basically, their followers were not only just watching the fashion moment unfold — they were helping style it.

Celeb Secrets: Retro Remix is having a moment, and you two got to put your own spin on the trend for SHEIN’s Fall/Winter ’26 campaign. What does Retro Remix mean to each of you, and how did you make sure your looks felt like you rather than just recreating a Pinterest mood board?
Wendy + Evelyn: “We love that Retro Remix gives you so much room to play. You can pull inspiration from different decades and vintage styles, but then mix those elements with pieces that feel really current. We really felt that it’s not about recreating a specific era, it’s about taking the details you love and making them feel like you. You can see that through our looks in our Fall/Winter collection shoot for SHEIN. They are completely different but still give you that retro vibe.
CS: Being twins, you obviously share a lot of style DNA, but we want to know where your fashion tastes completely disagree! What’s one trend the other sister is obsessed with that you would never personally wear, and what’s one piece you secretly steal from each other’s closets?
Wendy: “I’m 100% stealing the cropped plaid jacket she wore during the SHEIN shoot.”
Evelyn: “I’m stealing the retro flare jeans, the wash on the jeans is so chic!”
CS: What’s a trend you’ve recently discovered online that you immediately wanted to try IRL, and how do you decide which viral fashion moments are actually worth adding to your wardrobe?
Wendy + Evelyn: “Capris! We’ve seen all the girlies wearing them and they look so cute and stylish! As for which moments stay in your wardrobe it’s really dependent on your personal style and how that trend fits within it. Honestly, we always say take risks with your fashion and try that new piece or trend, experimenting is really the only way you’ll find what works for you.”
CS: The Fall/Winter ’26 campaign features everything from Dark Romance and Folk Revival to Power Dressing and Regal Maximalism. If you could each raid the collection and build an entire outfit around a trend other than Retro Remix, which aesthetic would you claim and why?
Wendy + Evelyn: “We recently had a stream at SHEIN HQ in LA where we played a fun game that randomly assigned us a trend aesthetic and an occasion to dress for, it was so much fun!”
Wendy: “I would pick Dark Romance! My wardrobe is filled with dark muted colors, it would never run out of ways to style it.”
Evelyn: “I think I would pick Soft Glam! It’s so cute, I love the girly girl vibe it gives.”
CS: The outfit is just as important as the plans. What’s your ultimate fall fashion formula for looking effortlessly put together, regardless of where you’re headed?
Wendy + Evelyn: “The most important thing is being comfortable! Honestly the ultimate fashion formula is really some slight baggy jeans with a cute baby tee. Then depending on where you’re going you can either dress it down with sneakers and a sweater or dress it up with some cute heels and a leather jacket.”
CS: There’s a misconception that looking fashionable means spending a fortune, but some of the best outfits often come down to styling. What’s your secret to making affordable fashion finds look elevated, expensive, and totally unique to your personal style?
Wendy + Evelyn: “The most important thing is the fit! Really look for pieces that compliment your body then from there, play with colors, accessories, really have fun with it. Also, confidence is key, don’t be afraid to hype yourself up!”
CS: What’s one piece currently on heavy rotation in both of your wardrobes, and how would you each style it completely differently?
Wendy: “During one of our SHEIN streams we had a shopping moment, where the SHEIN team let us take all our favorite pieces from the set home and I found this fuzzy mini skirt we’re both obsessed with! I already styled it with a cute black top and some knee high leather boots.”
Evelyn: “That skirt is really cute! I’ve been wanting to borrow it, I already have my outfit planned. I would wear it was some strappy heels and a fitted black long sleeve top.”
CS: You brought your followers along for the SHEIN campaign photoshoot by streaming the experience live on Twitch. What was it like letting your community see the fashion campaign process in real time, and did their reactions or suggestions influence how you approached your looks?
Wendy + Evelyn: “It was a bit scary but in a good way, we had never done a stream like that together. You can tell the chat really enjoyed it! Chat really is our biggest hypeman. We worked with SHEIN to make sure our chat was involved in the creative process. We set it up to where the viewers were able to vote on their favorite pieces for us to wear during the shoot.”
