Come on Barbie, let’s go shopping!
With Greta Gerwig’s new Barbie film only a few weeks away, tons of brands have been hopping on the bandwagon to create capsule collections inspired by their favorite doll. To no surprise, Boohoo is the latest to drop their limited-edition collection, which includes fun, fearless, and affordable pieces ranging from sizes 0-24 and prices from $8 to $65.
Last Thursday (June 29), the global e-tailer celebrated the launch of the 39 style collection with an exclusive, invite only party in West Hollywood, and the Celeb Secrets gals were one of the lucky VIPs who scored an invite to one of the most anticipated parties of the summer.
The Ardor inside the West Hollywood Edition turned into literal Barbie Land as the entire venue was filled with hot pink decorations, Barbie-themed cocktails and activations with pieces from the collection on display. Each item brings back the Y2K look that we all knew and loved from back in the day, but with a twist thanks to our favorite doll. Boohoo x Barbie is versatile for all sizes and even men can rock the Leatherman Jacket in their everyday street style.
While soaking in all the launch party had to offer, we rubbed shoulders with celebs like Coco Jones, who performed for guests throughout the night, Ming Lee Simmons, Loren Gray, Siobhan Bell, Bre Tiesi, Chelsea Lazkani, Chanel West Coast, and more. It was truly a night that we won’t forget!
