Spooky SZN has officially arrived, and one of New York City’s premiere Halloween attractions, Blood Manor, is back after the Coronavirus pandemic forced businesses to take a hiatus due to social distancing and other restrictions.
Promising more scares and thrills than ever before, Blood Manor‘s haunted halls return with old favorites like “The Crypt,” as well as new frights like Maggot Invasion, Hannibal’s Hell and Killer Clowns.
Another new feature is a haunted battlefield, which is a nod to the history of Blood Manor’s location in Tribeca. According to Blood Manor, the building housed the studio of Matthew Brady, the first “celebrity photographer” who is known for his daring Civil War photos and pictures of famous people, including Abraham Lincoln’s portrait session for the $5 bill.
“75% of this year’s show is new or refreshed,” the brand states in a press release.
On Wednesday (September 28) — just two days before opening to the public — Blood Manor hosted a private preview at the designated landmark to show influencers, VIPs and of course the Celeb Secrets gals to experience the spookiest attraction in town to kick off the Halloween season.
Blood Manor is truly a production, as owner Jim Lorenzo makes sure the sets, costumes and special effects are top notch. Each room has a perfect balance of eeriness and terror, leaving the audience on edge wanting more as they walk through the building’s haunted halls. It’s both shocking and scary, and definitely not for the faint of heart.
“[Blood Manor] is a theatrical quality production, with trained actors, set designers and makeup artists,” Lorenzo notes proudly. “The difference is that the audience walks right onto the stage and into the performance.”

Blood Manor is located at 359 Broadway, New York, NY 10013 and opens today, September 30th @ 7PM, and we highly recommend adding it into your Halloween-themed plans for a night filled of thrill with your friends and family.
