Nick Bencivengo has been on a constant winning streak.
The New Jersey-born YouTuber made the move to California just a few years ago and has been thriving ever since. For those who don’t know, Bencivengo creates videos (and even music) with his long-term girlfriend, Symonne Harrison, who he met at a young age.
The happy couple, also known as “Snick,” gained notoriety after filming an engagement prank video that literally broke the Internet, as it has over one million views to date.
“We saw a perfect opportunity to do it & ran with it. Obviously, in our minds, this was a lighthearted prank,” Bencivengo tells Celeb Secrets in an exclusive interview. “Our fans watch our prank videos where we prank our friends, so we thought it would be hilarious to include them.”
With over 400K YouTube subscribers, TikTok followers and Instagram followers, Nick has been busy starring in BratTV’s Crown Lake, looking for a dream house to live in with Symonne as well as traveling the world with his girlfriend to make videos for his channels.

Celeb Secrets: Your first YouTube video was posted five years ago. What encouraged you to start your YouTube channel?
Nick Bencivengo: “I always loved watching YouTubers as a kid such as the Paul Brothers, Tanner Fox, and Miranda Sings. I’ve always looked up to them and felt inspired to make my own channel. I started by making dance-related videos since that’s my other passion!”
CS: You were living in New Jersey and now you’re living in California… how was that transition, and did you ever think you’d be living here? Was this the dream location?
NB: “Being from New Jersey and training professionally in dance in NYC, moving to California was a scary one. I didn’t know if I would be able to make friends all the way across the country.”
CS: Have you kept in contact with people from before or has your circle changed a lot?
NB: “My circle has surprisingly stayed mostly the same since I moved. I frequently keep in touch with most of my hometown friends. As a matter a fact, I flew out one of my closest friends (like a sister) Kaleigh Bird last week to hang out with me and my girlfriend Symonne Harrison.”
CS: Dance has been a big part of your life. When did you get started, and how has it helped your career?
NB: Dance has always been my number one passion. Even turning on music and nodding my head makes me feel instantly refreshed and better. I started dance when I was around 5 years old. Within a few years of studying, I found myself dancing professionally in the city. It helped me understand determination and work ethic at a young age.
CS: Your YouTube videos started out with the titles asking my girl best friend questions, then it changed to your crush, and now officially girlfriend. How did you and Symonne meet? Who posed the dating questions first, and what was that conversation like?
NB: “YouTube has always been fun because you can look back and see how relationships started, old friends and more. I always say that what I show online is exactly what’s happening in my real life, obviously without all details. But, our fans saw our #Snick relationship begin and followed it to where it is now. Tons of amazing memories were made for our fans to share with us.”
CS: Let’s talk about your engagement prank. You got a lot of reactions and over 1 million views, essentially breaking the Internet. How was that feeling? How did your family react? And how did you deal with everyone’s reaction?
NB: “This prank was an idea Symonne and I came up with in Las Vegas. We saw a perfect opportunity to do it and ran with it. Obviously, in our minds, this was a lighthearted prank. Our fans watch our prank videos where we prank our friends, so we thought it would be hilarious to include them. We didn’t want to make anyone mad as it is our life and at the end of the day, that’s OUR decision to make. But it was just a prank…. for now ;).”
CS: I know you said that you and Symmone are just boyfriend and girlfriend for now… but can we expect anything in the future?
NB: “Symonne and I are going through life enjoying each other’s company and are happier than ever. We are still young, so I’m not sure what to expect from the future, but we hope to be together forever.”
CS: When it is time for a wedding, what’s your dream set-up?
NB: “Symonne and I both say our dream wedding is in our favorite vacation spot, Turks & Caicos. A beach wedding with a fun pool party after-party would be amazing.
CS: Reflecting on how much you and Symonne have grown and the success you’ve achieved at a young age… how does it feel? How has being at each other’s side helped you both in your career?
NB: “Having a partner in crime is something I feel everyone should have. They understand you in a different way than anyone could. We share accomplishments, and troubles, and have lows and highs together. It feels amazing being able to do that with your girlfriend & best friend.”
CS: You play Danny in Crown Lake on Brat TV. Is there anything you can share about that role?
NB: “I absolutely LOVED working with Brat TV on ‘Crown Lake’s’ newest season. It’s been out since April 12, and Danny and Molly have the best ‘ship’ of the season!”
CS: What are you most excited for in your upcoming role?
NB: “I’m super excited to see myself in a Brat TV show. I’ve been watching their shows since I was a kid. I’m also excited to watch it back with my fellow cast members & enjoy that moment together.”
CS: You are on the hunt for your dream house. How does it feel to be looking at houses at 18 and has the process been difficult?
NB: “Yes!! I am super excited to be buying a house. What people don’t know about me is how into real estate I am. I’ve been educating myself for months about real estate and finally think it’s time to invest in a house. I’m excited to be able to give my friends and family a homey stay when they visit California.”
CS: Looking back at that first video, you said that you were a dancer, actor, and singer. And you are achieving all of those things. How does it feel to still be following your passion?
NB: “It’s an amazing feeling being able to pursue your dreams. I’m super grateful for my success & being able to share my passion as a full-time career path.:
CS: If you could go back in time and tell your younger self one thing, what would it be?
NB: “I would tell myself to stop caring about what other people think. It seems very basic to say that, but others’ opinions truly change people, especially at a young age. Trust me, your school bully has nothing on your true worth and passions.”
CS: Are there any new upcoming projects or videos that you’re working on that you’re allowed to share and would like to talk about?
NB: “Tons and tons of new projects coming up. Let’s just say #Snick is hoping to do tons of traveling, new content, new shows, and hopefully doing as much for our fans as we can.”
CS: Since we’re Celeb Secrets, do you have any secrets about yourself that fans wouldn’t know?
NB: “My biggest secret right now is which house I chose to buy…. I can’t share that secret yet, but stay tuned to my socials to see when I announce it. It’s pretty amazing.”
