Normani just launched her first-ever fashion label, NORMANI, exclusively with SHEIN, and to celebrate the major moment, the global retailer threw a very on-brand chic soirée in Los Angeles on Tuesday (December 9).
Celeb Secrets was onsite mingling with the superstar, scoping out the full collection in person, and soaking in every last detail from one of the most stylish launch parties of the year. And yes… the night was every bit as iconic as you’d expect from the woman who practically invented confidence on a stage.
The Fleur Room transformed into a glam, moody playground so perfectly aligned with Normani’s DNA that even her “Motivation” music video would’ve been proud. The room was filled with creators, influencers, stylists, and VIP tastemakers dressed head-to-toe in NORMANI — including special guests like Olympian Jordan Chiles (with DWTS partner Ezra Sosa), Selling Sunset’s Davina Potratz and Nicole Young, and Love Island USA favorites Andreina Santos and Sydney Paight.
As soon as we checked in, we literally ran to the bar because the cocktail names were too iconic to pass up. Our favorite was the “Hibiscus With a Stranger,” a playful nod to Normani’s lyrics that instantly set the tone for the night: bold, flirty, and undeniably fun.
Everywhere we turned, guests were trying on (or already wearing) pieces from the NORMANI x SHEIN collection — everything from sleek long-sleeve bodysuits to edgy streetwear silhouettes. And yes, we had ours on too. Not to be dramatic, but the fabric was so soft it felt like a warm hug from Normani herself.
The line draws inspiration from her personal style, performance background, and overall superstar aura. Think: statement coats, daring cutouts, elevated basics, luxe textures, and silhouettes that move the way Normani dances — effortlessly but with full impact.
“Fashion has always been about self-expression for me, the freedom to explore who you are through what you wear,” Normani shared about the line. “SHEIN was the perfect partner… I want my fans to feel empowered to express themselves without limits or worrying about the price.”
Her mission? Confidence for everyone without breaking the bank. And based on the crowd at her launch party, mission accomplished.
Once we made our way into the main room, the designs were displayed like the art pieces they are — meant to be touched, explored, and paired with your next big night out. After snagging our photobooth moment (because duh), the rest of the night was a blur of dancing, mingling, snacking, and vibing to the most elite DJ set.
The whole celebration nailed what the collection stands for: Confident. Edgy. Unapologetic. Fearless. Pure Normani. It was probably one of the hottest fashion launch parties of the year because when Normani’s the muse, the moment, and the designer, greatness is simply inevitable.
