Knowing how heartbreaking “traitor” is, it did not come as a surprise to see the song paired with an emotional interpretive dance.
In the beginning, Rodrigo sings as couples are holding each other tightly and swaying to the melody. When she gets to the chorus, the dancers trade-off and move from person to person. The choreography coincides seamlessly with the song’s idea of a person getting romantically involved with someone while they’re still in another relationship. We get to see the singer show off some of her dancing skills too!
