Snoop Dogg performs at the Sound Factory Stage on Buttermilk Mountain during X Games Aspen 2015 on Friday evening (January 22) in Aspen, CO.
The 43-year-old rapper performed “The Shiznit,” “Let’s Get High,” “Lodi Dodi” and “Gin and Juice.” He also sang Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” and Joan Jett’s “I Love Rock ’n’ Roll,” and he dedicated Akon’s “I Wanna F— You” to the ladies. In karaoke style, Snoop sang over House of Pain’s “Jump Around” and B.I.G.’s “Hypnotize” and 2Pac’s “Gangster Party” in a back-to-back tribute to the ’90s rappers. Snoop closed his hour-long set with “Drop It Like It’s Hot” and “Who Am I (What’s My Name)?” before walking off to Bob Marley’s “Jammin’.”
Snoop is one of the four artists confirmed to play at X Games Aspen 2015. Other artists include Chromeo, Skrillex, and Wiz Khalifa.
After a successful concert series at Wagner Park in 2014, X Games is bringing music back to the base of Buttermilk Mountain with a new stage and venue to create a complete event experience for X Games fans.
Tickets are still available for purchase at www.XGamesAspen.FrontgateTickets.com. Shows are also streamed live via www.XGames.com and ESPN3.
