The biggest names in film are coming together for tonight to celebrate this year’s most charted songs across all genres at The 95th Oscars.
Taking place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood tonight (March 12), the official kick-off event for the Academy Awards has a star-studded lineup of nominees, performers and presenters who are posing for photos and chatting with press in killer looks before the big show.
The red carpet includes a special pre-show titled “On The Red Carpet Live: Countdown to Oscars 95,” which begins at 1PM ET/10AM PT. The pre-show coverage will also stream on ABC News Live starting at 1:30PM ET/10:30AM PT throughout the day until the start of the 95th Academy Awards®.
ABC News Live Prime anchor and “World News Tonight” weekend anchor Linsey Davis and “Good Morning America” weekend co-anchor and “World News Tonight” weekend anchor Whit Johnson will host the red-carpet special at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre, featuring interviews with Oscar nominees and previewing the big night. Davis and Johnson will be joined by ABC News correspondent Chris Connelly, ESPN’s Andscape senior entertainment reporter and ABC News contributor Kelley Carter and Hollywood insiders, including Variety’s Elizabeth Wagmeister and Clayton Davis, and celebrity stylist Joe Zee.
The 95th Oscars will feature epic performances from Rihanna; Lenny Kravitz; Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava; David Byrne, Stephanie Hsu and Son Lux; Sofia Carson and Diane Warren, with appearances from Paul Dano; Cara Delevingne; Harrison Ford; Kate Hudson; Mindy Kaling; Eva Longoria; Julia Louis-Dreyfus; Andie MacDowell; Elizabeth Olsen; Pedro Pascal; John Travolta; Riz Ahmed; Halle Bailey; Antonio Banderas; Elizabeth Banks; Emily Blunt; Jessica Chastain; John Cho; Glenn Close; Jennifer Connelly; Ariana DeBose; Andrew Garfield; Hugh Grant; Danai Gurira; Salma Hayek Pinault; Samuel L. Jackson; Dwayne Johnson; Michael B.
