Fantasy Suite With Rachael
Last but not least, Rachael Kirkconnell met up with Matt James to start their day, but it was obvious that something was wrong. From Kirkconnell’s facial expressions and body language, Bachelor Nation and Matt James could tell immanently that something was up and that she allowed her anxiety/insecurities get the best of her.
Throughout the episode, she voiced her concerns about Matt having overnight sleepovers with other women and how it it caused her pain. While we do feel for her, she has to remember that she is a contestant on The Bachelor and this type of behavior is expected!
After pouting for half the date, Matt pulled her aside to have an intimate conversation about her feelings, and of course, she got the reassurance she needed to turn her frown upside down. During the exchange, she told Matt that the week was “unbearable.” Ultimately, Matt took his feelings for Rachael one step further and declared that he’s “fallen in love” with her.
The two spent the afternoon spinning pottery, but the evening was a night to remember. Rachael and Matt continued to share their love for each other over dinner and watched fireworks out their fantasy suite window. Rachael even told the cameras that she wants to wake up with a ring on her finger.
