Cocktail Party
Before embarking on the wild journey, Katie stood before the men with a cocktail in hand to share her true intentions. While making her toast, she asked all 30 contestants to “be themselves” and to “step out of their comfort zone.” After raising a glass to love, several lucky men out of the bunch got one-on-one time with the leading lady.
The men surprised Katie with fun activities throughout the very first cocktail party. Justin the painter, flexed his unmatchable skills and presented a beautiful piece of work. Meanwhile, Tre and Katie pretended that they were kids again and played in a makeshift ball pit in a back of a pickup truck.
However, there was one man that captured Katie’s attention right away and stood out amongst the rest. Bachelor Nation has already decided that Greg from New Jersey is already the “new” Tyler C from Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette, as he made a wonderful first impression. During their deep and first conversation, he opened up about his family and how much his niece means to him. In fact, he gifted her with a necklace made out of pasta – which his niece carefully made just for her! After night one, Greg is now the contestant leading the pack with the most Instagram followers.
Throughout the night, it looked like Katie was on cloud nine. However, Jeff quickly brought her back to reality with his RV… yes, you heard us correctly. Jeff took Katie to check out his RV and he even had a veggie tray waiting inside for her. After the awkward adventure, Katie told the cameras that the RV was “definitely lived in” and said he was chomping on veggies and throwing dirty boxers around…
The rest of the night was smooth sailing for Katie, but we have to keep our eyes on Aaron and Cody because they “apparently” have drama and already know each other from back home.
