Rebecca Minkoff didn’t let a global pandemic (and the winter weather) stop her from showing off her latest looks!
The fashion designer unveiled pieces from her Spring/Summer 2021 collection at Spring Studios during NYFW: The Shows 2021 on Tuesday afternoon (February 16). Being one of the few presentations to have guests in attendance (including Celeb Secrets CEO Juliet Schroder!), the event was also livestreamed on Rebecca’s Instagram for her followers and fashion lovers alike to catch a glimpse of the collection from the comfort of their own homes.

Drawing inspiration from the juxtaposition between spring florals and the downtown edge of the concrete jungle (aka New York City), the Spring/Summer 2021 collection allows the modern woman to express herself through all facets and moments of life. Featuring maxi dresses, soft quilted jackets, and strong leather statement pieces, the design elements with unique embroidery and voluminous silhouettes all enhance the boho meets city aesthetic.
“I always find myself drawing inspiration from both my love for the city and also nature, so this collection really embodies both of those environments.” describes the designer, Rebecca Minkoff.
The handbags complete each look with a variety of shapes with a focus on: oversized, studded details, fringe, and moto detailing. The colors and materials of the collection are 70’s inspired, with colors including caramel, khaki and bordeaux, in a mix of leather and suede. Footwear includes revamped styles like booties with tassel detailing, studded sandals and strappy heels.
Rebecca Minkoff’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection exudes the casual, effortless aesthetic the brand is known for. It comes to life through pastel florals, animal prints, and eyelet, and we can’t wait to wear each piece when the warm weather rolls around.
