Day 1 – August 27, 2022

If you are an early bird and want to start the day as festival doors open at noon, make sure to have your passes ready, an empty reusable plastic water bottle (you’ll thank us later), and your Golden Voice Festival App downloaded so we can help you curate your perfect festival schedule.

12 PM: There are two acts Celeb Secrets thinks you should check out depending on how you want to start your day. If you want to start your day with some Indie/Alternative tunes, check out Hana Vu at the Greens Stage at 12:35 to hear hits like “Crying on the Subway,” “Keeper,” and songs from her latest EP Parking Lot. But if you want to start the day with some dancing, head over to Isabella Lovestory for some Latino Urbano at the Back Nine Stage at 12:10. You don’t want to miss her big hit “Mariposa” and her latest single “Fashion Freak!”

1-2 PM: This gives you enough time to get from your first act to the next, grab a quick drink, or a nice cold ice cream from Van Leeuwen Ice Cream to cool off during a hot day! After you cool off, if you want to keep those dancing feet moving, you can go over and check out PEACH right at 2pm at the 19th Hole Stage, Godford at 2:40 at Greens, or you can hangout with Despacio all-day from 2 to 9 at their own stage. For some nice Indie tunes, head over to the Back Nine Stage at 2:10 for Enjoy – who we hope will sing hits like “I’ve Wasted So Much Time” and “Lounge Thoughts.”

3-4 PM: When I tell you you won’t want to miss this next act at 3:40 pm, I mean you better run to the Greens Stage to see Eyedress. If you like acts like DJO, Mac DeMarco, or Enjoy, you will LOVE him! Not convinced, listen to songs like “Jealous,” “Something About You,” and “Romantic Lover” before heading to the festival. To hear some Old Style Hip-Hop like “Salt Shaker,” the Ying Yang Twins will be hitting the Back Nine Stage at 4:10.

5 PM: If you are like us and enjoy the music but need some sustenance, this would be the perfect time to do so. They have food for every diet out there — from vegetarians and vegans to seafood lovers and meat eaters alike, the options are endless. If you are in need of some good pizza, Prince Street Pizza got you covered! For our vegans out there, you can’t go wrong with Cena Vegan, who produce some of the best vegan nachos we’ve ever had, or Monty’s Good Burger.

6 PM: Start making your way back to the stages because the party is just getting started. At the Fairway Stage, we have Isaiah Rashad at 6:10 and the one and only Mac DeMarco at 6:35 at the Back Nine Stage. Good luck choosing between the two or running back-and-forth from set to set.

8 PM: If I were you, I would stay either at the Fairway Stage or the Back Nine Stage for the rest of the night or alternate between the two, because you have Jungle at 8pm on Back Nine and Le Tigre at Fairway. If you have trouble between the two, Le Tigre is an all girl band who know how to rock. They’ve been around for some time and you might know their hit “Deceptacon.”

9 PM: For our last acts of the night, it is between Jorja Smith and LCD Soundsystem. I would hit Jorja Smith‘s set at 9:20pm on Back Nine and make sure to learn hits like “On My Mind” and “Blue Lights” to sing along to. You can still catch the last few songs of LCD Soundsystem’s set before the night ends or head back early to beat the traffic.

Rest up and recharge not only yourself but your portable chargers for another fun filled day!
