Montana Tucker wants you to know that she’s more than just a famous face on the Internet.
Before having over 6.8 million followers on TikTok and 2.4 million followers on Instagram, the South Florida native was dancing for artists like Pitbull, Flo Rida, Ciara and Ashanti while auditioning for commercials, TV shows and modeling. Putting music on the back burner for some time, Tucker took the leap and released her original single “I’m Not Alone” in 2018, later finding herself to be the only female artist on Pitbull’s Mr. 305 Records. Since the signing, Montana dropped two songs — “Hola” back in April and “Sunday Funday” back in September, and told Celeb Secrets that “its a feel-good song that will make [you] want to dance.”
True to Montana’s style, “Sunday Funday,” which was produced by Nitti Gritti (Diplo, Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias, Bad Bunny) and Shndo (Cardi B, Chris Brown, Poo Bear, MadeinTYO, Ozuna, Lele Pons), features a light-hearted percussion and an upbeat tempo. Adorned with a vivacious melody, the lyrics give us girl-power vibes that will be sure to inspire listeners to sing and dance their days away, putting smiles on their faces during times when its hard to do so.
Celeb Secrets sat down (virtually) with Montana to reflect on her successful career, her latest single “Sunday Funday,” and what its really like making all those TikToks and dance videos in the interview below.
