Song of the Year: “Blank Space” – Taylor Swift, “Can’t Feel My Face” – The Weeknd, “Hello” – Adele, “Shut Up and Dance” – Walk The Moon, “Uptown Funk” – Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars

Who We Want To Win: Talk about a difficult choice! Not only do we have T-Swift and Adele who have both topped the charts, but we also have newcomer Walk The Moon! In a perfect world, we would declare them all winners. BUT there can only be one winner and although “Uptown Funk” was our 2015 jam and The Weeknd absolutely slays, CS4U predict the award will go to our favorite British bae, Adele. Her come back to the music industry took everyone by storm and her track has broken multiple records. Sorry TayTay, but the numbers simply don’t lie!

Female Artist of the Year (New Category): Adele, Carrie Underwood, Meghan Trainor, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift

Who We Want To Win: This year, iHeartRadio have added a ton of new categories including Female Artist of the Year. From Selena Gomez to Meghan Trainor, the nominees are definitely full of world-class acts. The only question is, where is Demi Lovato’s name?? Nonetheless, CS4U predict that the gal who will take home the gold will either be Adele or Carrie Underwood. Both Adele and Carrie have been racking up awards this whole season so it’s hard to narrow it down to just one winner here. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see!

Male Artist of the Year: (New Category): Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Luke Bryan, Sam Smith, The Weeknd

Who We Want To Win: Male Artist of the Year is another new category to join the awards this year. The musicians up for this award are all so insanely talented, I have NO idea how they’ll be able to pick just one! But I predict that the male artist who will come out on top will be none other than… *drum roll* Justin Bieber! With all his chart toppers, no one can deny that this has been Justin’s year. We’re rooting for you Biebs!

Best New Artist: Fetty Wap, Hozier, Sam Hunt, Shawn Mendes, Tove Lo

Who We Want To Win: This year we have Fetty Wap, Hozier, Sam Hunt, Shawn Mendes, and Tove Lo up for Best New Artist. They have all had a hit track, so it’s seriously hard to narrow it down. But it must be done! And we at CS4U predict that the best new artist will be awarded to either Fetty Wap or Shawn Mendes. Fetty Wap has thrown out hit after hit, but Shawn Mendes has been doing just the same. We can’t wait to see the two duke it out!

Best Duo/Group of the Year (New Category): Fall Out Boy, Maroon 5, One Direction, Walk The Moon, Zac Brown Band

Who We Want To WinOur prediction for Best Duo/Group of Year is between our favorite boyband and our favorite rock band. 1D may have lost a member, but that doesn’t mean they still can’t shell out some awesome tunes. On the other hand, Fall Out Boy have been on point ever since they came back from their hiatus. Can we just have TWO Best Group of the Year awards?

Album of the Year (New Category): 1989 – Taylor Swift, 25 – Adele, Beauty Behind the Madness – The Weeknd, In the Lonely Hour – Sam Smith, X – Ed Sheeran

Who We Want To Win: Again we have some of the industry’s best including both of our queens going head to head. Now even though Sam, Ed, and The Weeknd all have incredibly composed albums, we feel that this award will be given to Adele. Her album was one of the most anticipated albums EVER and it lived up to the hype. Adele has this one in the bag for sure!

Best Tour: (New Category): Foo Fighters, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Taylor Swift, U2

Who We Want To Win: There were many amazing tours this year, but we think the one with the most pizazz and wow factor for this category had to be Taylor Swift’s tour. The 1989 Tour had several costume changes and Swift even brought different artists on stage with her to perform! Nearly every night was a new collab and that alone makes for the best tour of 2015!

Country Song of the Year: “Buy Me A Boat” – Chris Janson, “Homegrown” – Zac Brown Band, “I See You” – Luke Bryan, “Lose My Mind” – Brett Eldredge, “Take Your Time” – Sam Hunt

Who We Want To Win: For Country Song of the Year, we think Sam Hunt will take the prize with “Take Your Time“. His new style of country featuring half-sung, half-spoken lyrics took the world by storm. The song had lots of radio play and you couldn’t change the radio station without it coming on again. The song even made a cross popover and was pretty catchy!

Country Artist of the Year (New Category): Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett

Who We Want To WinCountry Artist of the Year is a very tight category, but we believe Luke Bryan will take the crown. He’s been spending a lot of time at the top with hits such as “Kick The Dust Up” which is such a fun song for everyone, regardless of what genre you’re into! Being able to make a non-fan enjoy your music is a pretty powerful thing and for that, Luke Bryan deserves this coveted award.

Best Lyrics *Socially Voted Category:  “Die A Happy Man” – Thomas Rhett, “Fight Song” – Rachel Platten, “Hello” – Adele, “Photograph” – Ed Sheeran, “See You Again” – Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth

Who We Want To Win: All the songs in this category are so lyrically beautiful and inspiring. You have Rachel Platten’s up-lifting Fight Song which makes us all want to kick ass, Adele’s “Hello” which made us all want to call up our ex, and then Ed Sheeran’s heartwarming Photograph that made us that Ed is the guy we really want. Although all of them deserve this award, CS4U predicts that Whiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth will win this one. “See You Again” was such a tear-jerking song especially when it closed out the ending for Furious 7.

Best Collaboration *Socially Voted Category: “Bad Blood” – Taylor Swift featuring Kendrick Lamar, “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” – Meghan Trainor featuring John Legend, “See You Again” – Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth, “Uptown Funk” – Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars, “Where Are Ü Now?” – Skrillex & Diplo with Justin Bieber

Who We Want To WinThere’s nothing like a good collab to set the mood, am I right? I predict that Justin will score yet another award. “Where Are Ü Now?” is a Grammy-winning track that everyone fell in love with. But who knows! The Best Collaboration award is socially so it’s truly up for anyone to grab!

Best Cover Song (New Category) *Socially Voted Category: “1989” (Album in Full) – Ryan Adams covering Taylor Swift, “Bad Blood” – Alessia Cara covering Taylor Swift, “Bitch Better Have My Money” – Kelly Clarkson covering Rihanna, “Cheerleader” – Pentatonix covering Omi, “Hands To Myself/Sorry” – Troy Sivan covering Selena Gomez And Justin Bieber, “Hello” – Demi Lovato covering Adele, “Hotline Bling” – Justin Bieber covering Drake, “Hotline Bling” – Sam Smith & Disclosure covering Drake, “Trap Queen” – Ed Sheeran covering Fetty Wap, “Uptown Funk” – Fifth Harmony, Jasmine V, Jacob Whitesides and Mahogany Lox covering Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars

Who We Want To WinIt’s great to see singers performing their songs, but it’s even BETTER seeing them cover each other’s track! With that being said, I firmly believe that Demi Lovato will take this one home for her “Hello” cover. I remember seeing the performance when she first covered it and I has BLOW AWAY. If you haven’t seen it yet, you definitely should check it out!

Best Song from a Movie (New Category) *Socially Voted Category: “Earned It” – The Weeknd (50 Shades of Grey), “Love Me Like You Do” – Ellie Goulding (50 Shades of Grey), “See You Again” – Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth (Furious 7), “Til It Happens To You” – Lady Gaga (The Hunting Ground), “Writing’s On The Wall” – Sam Smith (Spectre)

Who We Want To WinIt has been said that a movie is nothing without the perfect score. I personally agree with this saying! All the contenders listed are all amazing tracks that made the movie come to life. Lady Gaga’s “Til It Happens To You” is such a moving and bone-chilling song, I would surprised of she doesn’t win.

Most Meme-able Moment (New Category) *Socially Voted Category: Adele and all of the “Hello” memes (Lionel Richie, Miss Piggy, Etc.), Drake and “Hotline Bling,” Katy Perry and the Left Shark (from Super Bowl 49), Kanye West and Kanye For President / Kanye 2020, Taylor Swift’s “Crazy Girl” with Running Mascara (from “Blank Space” video)

Who We Want To Win: From Kanye’s dreams for 2020 dance to Katy Perry’s uncoordinated performer, the memes in this category all had their fair share of laughter. But who’s was the funniest? I’m going to have to go with my gut feeling here and I predict the Most Meme-able Moment will go to Drake and his “interesting” choreography. The internet blew up with people creating their own parodies to people editing them into hilarious clips, Drake is a shoe in!

Best Fan Army *Socially Voted Category: 5 Seconds of Summer – 5SOSFam, Adam Lambert – Glamberts, Ariana Grande – Arianators, Demi Lovato – Lovatics, Fifth Harmony – Harmonizers, Justin Bieber – Beliebers, Little Mix – Mixers, Nicki Minaj – Barbz, One Direction – Directioners, Selena Gomez – Selenators, Shawn Mendes – Mendes Army, Taylor Swift – Swifties

Who We Want To WinThe last prediction we have for you guys is for the Best Fan Army. With 12 fandoms all competing against each other, this is possibly the most intense one of them all. But regardless of how many contenders there are, it always comes down to the top 4: 5SOS’ 5SOSfam, Fifth Harmony’s Harmonizers, Justin Bieber’s Beliebers, and One Direction’s Directioners.  These fan bases have been voting relentlessly for the pass few weeks and judging from what I see on social media, I’m going to have to go with 5SOS’ 5SOSfam on this one!
