WHO WE THINK WILL WIN: Is it just us, or do these categories just keep getting more difficult? This would be a great category for the AMAs to honor Kendrick Lamar‘s outstanding work, and we’d love to see it happen! (BTW, we predict he’ll also take the Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Song category with his track “Humble.”
Favorite Male Soul/R&B Artist: Bruno Mars, Childish Gambino, The Weeknd.
WHO WE THINK WILL WIN: Bruno Mars‘ music transcends genres, so we wouldn’t be surprised if he picks up awards in pop and R&B this year. His song “That’s What I Like” is also nominated in the Favorite R&B song category, and we predict him accepting that trophy!’
Favorite Female Soul/R&B Artist: Beyonce, Kehlani, Rihanna.
WHO WE THINK WILL WIN: How can you even choose with a category like this?! But as the saying goes, “This is Beyonce‘s world, we’re just living in it.”
