To get things ready for the 2018 Emmys, tons of nominees and casts from your favorite shows came together this weekend for a variety of lavish events around Los Angeles.
From Entertainment Weekly’s star-studded shindig to the 12th annual “Evening Before” party benefitting MPTF (Motion Picture & Television Fund), there was no shortage of festivities going on this weekend.
Big names from the casts of This Is Us, Queer Eye, Saturday Night Live, The Handmaid’s Tale, GLOW, Modern Family, black-ish, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, and Atlanta stepped out, but keep scrolling to see the best moments from every Emmy Pre-Party below.

On Friday, September 14, The Hollywood Reporter and SAG-AFTRA hosted their annual Emmy Nominees Night at AVRA Beverly Hills, celebrating the 70th Annual Emmy Award contenders.

Entertainment Weekly celebrated TV’s biggest weekend with their annual pre-Emmy party on Saturday (September 15) honoring the 2018 Emmy nominees and the stars of the new fall TV season. Past and present nominees, fall TV talent and industry elite came together with presenting sponsor L’Oréal Paris to celebrate this year’s accomplishments and toast to the very best in television at Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles, with tunes from DJ Michelle Pesce.
Held at the Sunset Tower Hotel, the guest list featured hundreds of celebs across all television shows on every platform.
FX Networks, in partnership with Vanity Fair, hosted a private cocktail party to celebrate FX Network’s Emmy nominations on Sunday (September 16) at CRAFT in Los Angeles. With celebs such as Pamela Adlon, Louie Anderson, Zazie Beetz, Yvette Nicole Brown, Darren Criss, Olivia Edward, Billy Eichner, Donald Glover, Stephen Glover, Max Greenfield, Lesley Grossman, Brian Tyree Henry, Ron Howard, Cheyenne Jackson, Nina Jacobson, Jonathan Krisel, Judith Light, Mikey Madison, Ricky Martin, Margo Martindale, Janet Mock, Hiro Murai, Gary Newman, Our Lady J, Billy Porter, Edgar Ramirez, Costa Robin, Xosha Roquemore, Keri Russell, Lakeith Stanfield, Holly Taylor, and Dana Walden on the guest list, shows that were recognized included “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story,” “Atlanta,” “American Horror Story: Cult,” “The Americans,” “Baskets,” and “Legion.”
Also on Sunday, September 16, the entertainment industry came together for the 12th Annual “Evening Before” Party, Benefitting MPTF (Motion Picture & Television Fund) in Century City.
The television industry, from Emmy presenters and nominees, to other TV industry members, helped raise funds to support their industry colleagues and friends who benefit from MPTF’s charitable programs and services such as financial assistance, crisis counseling, care giving support and of course the legendary retirement facility in Woodland Hills that is “home” to television and film veterans alike.
