The winners for the 2021 American Music Awards are rolling in!
Music’s biggest artists were given awards for their chart topping hits during the annual award show, which was packed with stars, surprises and more from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday (November 21).
Hosted by Cardi B, the 2021 AMAs is featuring epic performances and incredible collaborations from Bad Bunny with Tainy and Julieta Venegas, BTS, Coldplay, Olivia Rodrigo, Carrie Underwood and Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, New Edition and New Kids on the Block, Diplo, Maneskin, Mickey Guyton, Tyler, The Creator, Walker Hayes, Zoe Wees, Chlöe, Givēon, Silk Sonic, and Jennifer Lopez. The show includes on-site appearances from Ansel Elgort & Rachel Zegler, Anthony Ramos, Billy Porter, Brandy, D-Nice, Drew Lachey, Joey Fatone & Shawn Stockman, JB Smoove, JoJoSiwa, Liza Koshy, Machine Gun Kelly, Marsai Martin, Madelyn Cline, Michelle Young and Winnie Harlow.
2021 AMAs: Complete Coverage
Before the big show, the AMAs announced the night’s first group of winners during a special TikTok livestream hosted by Billboard’s Tetris Kelly and The Hollywood Reporter’s Tiffany Taylor, featuring award-winning singer-songwriter JoJo as co-host.
Taylor Swift nabbed one win during the pre-show and is still eligible for tonight’s top honor, Artist of the Year. Swift, who is up against fellow global superstars Ariana Grande, BTS, Drake, Olivia Rodrigo and The Weeknd, broke her own record ahead of tonight’s show by winning a seventh time for Favorite Female Pop Artist and adding a win to top her previous record for most AMA wins of all time, now with 33. Gabby Barrett took home her first-ever American Music Awards wins, sweeping both of her categories. The remaining categories will be released during the live show later this evening, airing at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
