Mark your calendars! This year will be the 48th Daytime Emmy Awards, which will take place June 25, 2021, premiering on CBS from 8 pm-10 pm ET. The show will also be streaming on Paramount + after CBS signed a two-year deal with Daytime Emmys in order to stream the award ceremony in 2021 and 2022.
Being nominated for an Emmy Award is a huge deal, but winning one is an even bigger accomplishment! With the ceremony presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the awards given at the Daytime Emmy Awards recognizes outstanding accomplishments done in Daytime Television and includes syndicated programming as well.
A few nominees include Drew Barrymore for “Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host” and “Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show,” Julie and the Phantoms competing within one category for “Outstanding Original Song,” Days of Our Lives for “Outstanding Drama Secrets,” Good Morning America and Today Show for “Outstanding Morning Show and more!”
