The biggest names in music are coming together for tonight to celebrate this year’s most memorable and best videos for one of the most jaw-dropping shows of all time — the 2021 MTV VMAs.
Taking place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. tonight (September 12), the official kick-off event for the MTV VMAs has a star-studded lineup of nominees, performers and presenters who are posing for photos and chatting with press in killer looks before the big show. The event is the first time MTV has had a major red carpet for the VMAs since the Coronavirus pandemic hit the world in March of 2020, and we are here 👏🏻 for 👏🏻 it 👏🏻
The red carpet includes a live TV special that showcases the glamorous arrival of the stars on the red carpet. The special, which kicks off at 6:30PM ET/PT on MTV, will be hosted by Nessa Diab and Jamila Mustafa with celebrity correspondent Tinashe, and features retrospective red carpet fashion, jaw-dropping celebrity stage moments from VMAs past, and celebratory reviews of today’s biggest performers and nominees. The red carpet pre-show will also host three performances from Kim Petras, Swedish House Mafia and Polo G, making it a must-see event for fans.
