5 Seconds of Summer’s drummer, Ashton Irwin, just confirmed on The Howard Stern Show that things didn’t work out with his latest girlfriend, Bryana Holly. Goodbye to my OTP.
The 4 Australian rockers visited the New York radio show this morning to talk about their latest album Sounds Good Feels Good and much more. Stern, who has been known for having no filter, wasted no time digging into their lives with some personal questions. After a live performance of “She’s Kinda Hot,” the four boys were put in the hot seat with questions surrounding girls, current relationships and all the lust that comes with the fame. Ashton broke the news about his unfortunate breakup after Stern pressed them about whether there were any girls in the picture.
Ashton replied, “I tried being in a relationship, but it didn’t work out. I’ve been away for 6 months.”
Signs of their break-up began last month when both Irwin and Holly unfollowed each other on their social media pages, raising many eyebrows. Bryana then stopped making her appearances with the band, whereas before, she would always travel to the wherever her “hubby” was. The two were only together for less than a year (maybe more), but hopefully they do end up working things out in the near (very, very near) future.
