Kylie Jenner has recently received a lot of backlash since the reveal of her private jet usage.
The makeup mogul recently posted a photo of her and beau Travis Scott on an airport runway with two private jets in the background. Jenner captioned her post, “you wanna take mine or yours?”
The post received tons of backlash as many people shared their thoughts about how Kylie was only contributing to the climate crisis. An individual went as far as checking her flight history, which only made the situation worse for Jenner. The tweet showed that the 24-year-old took a flight that was 12 minutes for what would be around a 45-minute drive. Many ridiculed the mogul for contributing to the climate crisis in a situation they felt could have been avoided. Some even reflected on their own experiences of doing their part to help the environment.

Well, it looks like despite this Jenner is not the top celebrity who has contributed the most private jet CO2 emissions in 2022. According to research conducted by Yard, the celebrity with the most CO2 emissions is none other than Taylor Swift! The outlet gathered the data from information from Celebrity Jets and then cross-compared the data with the general public’s CO2 emissions compared to each celebrity. Since the beginning of the year, Swift has amassed 22,923 minutes or 15.9 days flying in her private jet according to the research.
The Yard reports the “All Too Well” singer has had 8,293.54 tonnes of total flight emissions. Her shortest flight of 2022, according to the outlet, has been from Missouri to Nashville, which was only 36 minutes.
And although Jenner received backlash for her recent trip with Scott, the mogul didn’t even make it into the top ten list. In fact, she was number 19 on the list of celebrities with the most CO2 emissions from a private jet.
