Landon Barker is entering a new chapter, and he’s doing it on his own terms.
The 22-year-old musician, who’s carved out a name for himself through a mix of vulnerability, edge, and unmistakable Barker family musical DNA, is officially in full creative mode as he puts the finishing touches on his debut project.
After nearly two years without new music, Landon tells Celeb Secrets that the wait is almost over — and fans can expect something deeper and more personal than ever before.
“I recently signed with Big Loud,” Landon tells us exclusively at Raising Cane’s Giant Pumpkin Event in Hollywood last week. “It’s a Nashville-based record label, and I’m currently working on my project — my album. I’ve been working on it for a long time, but it’s finally coming together.”
That “coming together” moment has been a long time in the making. For Landon, this album isn’t just about catchy hooks or aesthetics; it’s about creating something that represents exactly who he is now.
“I only write about stuff in my life that feels present enough to put into a song,” he explains. “I put my feelings into my music — that’s kind of what I’m really trying to do with this whole project.”
And though diving into personal experiences can be vulnerable, he finds comfort in turning his life into art. “It is and it isn’t nerve-wracking,” he says. “It’s also really therapeutic.”

That balance between openness and confidence defines the kind of artist Landon is becoming. His lyrics often channel introspection and experience, blending alternative, pop, and punk influences into something that feels uniquely him. And while the world might see Landon through the lens of his father, Blink-182’s Travis Barker, the young artist is carving his own sound while still keeping family ties close.
“He’s definitely going to be producing a lot of the album,” Landon says with a grin. “It’s a little intimidating sometimes, but I really do enjoy working with him.”
While fans wait for new music to officially drop, Landon says he’s putting everything he’s got into this debut — including some beats on the drums.
“I just want to get this finished and put it out because I’ve been saying that for way too long — and I really mean it this time. I’ve definitely grown and gotten better… my guitar playing, my voice, my writing. The more you do something, the better you get at it,” he shares.
“I’ve played the drums on a couple of my songs. It’ll probably end up getting replayed, but that’s kind of [a secret],” he continues.

At the event, Raising Cane’s founder and CEO Todd Graves debuted a jaw-dropping 2,518-pound jack-o’-lantern nestled between Madame Tussauds and the TCL Chinese Theatre on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Carved by Food Network’s Halloween Wars star Eric Jones and grown by Emmett Andrusz, a 2025 Grower of the Year, the gourd is the second-largest pumpkin in the entire country.
“I’ve always loved Halloweens and jack-o’-lanterns and dreamed of having the biggest pumpkin in the world. This year, we have the first and second largest pumpkins in the country and I wanted to share them with as many people as possible, which is why we have one here on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and one in the heart of Times Square at Military Island,” Graves shared with Celeb Secrets and other media outlets at the event. “I wanted to display the pumpkins where people would be able to see and enjoy them I couldn’t think of a better place to share this pumpkin with the world.”
Landon was one of the many celebrities who stopped by to check out the spooky spectacle and, of course, indulge in his favorite Cane’s meal. “It feels good. I love chicken, so I’m happy to be here,” he says with a grin. “The pumpkin is really cool.”
And when it comes to his go-to order, Landon doesn’t even need to think about it. “Caniac Combo. Every single time,” he says of his go-to order. “It never lets me down.”

Barker’s Halloween plans didn’t end there, though. Last Wednesday, the artist hinted that he had two very different costume ideas this year — one inspired by “famous Hollywood people” and the other inspired by a Tim Burton movie. And this weekend, Landon shared a collection of snaps revealing that “famous Hollywood couple” inspired costume with his current girlfriend Skyla Sanders.
“Pam and Tommy ,” Landon captioned the carousel of photos, which showed the pair dressed as Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.
According to PEOPLE, Landon and Skyla went public with their relationship back in May 2025. The pair made their red carpet debut at the 2025 MTV VMAs in September, where they were seen packing on PDA and wearing matching black outfits. Sanders is the daughter of director Rupert Sanders and model Liberty Ross, and follows in her mother’s footsteps with her own budding modeling career.
